It had never occurred to me before his comment and now you show us this.....coincidence? I think not...lol... I will have to think about whether or not to purchase this item....the LAST thing I need is another rabbit hole.

I have the light bulb one, different brand. It was over 30 bucks! It does work great but that seems just as good for alot cheaper!
Buuut the only use I have for it is for outside, and it says it's not meant for outside.(it's been outside for 5 months now and still working though)

I could not contain my laughter when he pulled out a cd and called it a drink coaster.
I often used the microscope when assisting special stick insects with hatching from their eggs. They would often have a leg stuck in the egg or be unable to fold out of it properly, so using the microscope helped a lot since the whole ordeal could be about a centimeter.

The phonescreen magnifier reminds me of these old soviet crt tvs that came with a kind of aquarium in front of the device that u could fill with water to magnify the screen
I have that metal phone stand. I added some larger electrical shrink tube on the lower tongs to keep from scratching things

0:57 The “Drink coaster” is actually an Installation CD for an app on your PC. But since most new PC’s don’t have CD drives you can technically use it as a drink coaster.

Like the microscope, useful if you fix boards as mentioned. The multipurpose board that you can put your keys, coins etc. is also good. The rest are not as impressive as the two.
Honestly I never knew this type of products existed specifically for phones
I bought something similar to thr phone screen magnifier a few months ago. On the plus side it was cheaper at about £6.00 and it was out together very sturdily. The fresnel lens slides out from the base and then tilts to the correct angle.
On the minus side, it doesn't work very well. Thr image is enlarged but badly distorted. It certainly doesn't live up to the advertised crystal clear image.
If it comes to a portable viewing experience i would use a tablet pc for watching a movie and keep the phone for making calls if you feel you needed that larger screen experience.

The 1st item, the microscope. I tested it myself and it’s quite fun ! It’s pricey though.
The microscope can magnify a lot more than that. It has a magnification dead zone, but if you keep turning the focus dial and it will come back into focus with significantly greater magnification.
I do love when they send handy little drink coasters with my electronics. :)

I have a similar microscope. But the 1000x magnification is complete nonsense because you can't get that close.
Other than that, it's a nice gimmick.
Regardless of the cable, mine can also be connected via Wi-Fi. This is very practical and the cable is not in the way or too short.
