I saw a video like this about Steph Curry and I thought it would be cool to make at least one for an NFL player. Who better than to start with OBJ. Anyway, is there another player that you guys would want to see in a video like this?
I remember literally starting the Monday after this game everybody playing football at recess would be like “yo gimme an Odell” and “imma try to Odell this one” haha good memories
J.J B i didn’t know about him until the catch 😂 but I’m a raider fan, you probably don’t even know other players from other teams, that’s how Odell was
I’ve seen the video of “the catch” probably a thousand times. I have never paid attention to the people in the background’s reaction until watching it this time. It was the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done!
I mean, these are top players with a lot of experience. They are REALLY good at catching, so I don’t think gloves would make a big impact on their gameplay. For sure, a little but it’s mostly hand eye coordination etc
David Johnson would be a good one for this. That game against Philly in his rookie season he had something like over 200 total yards and 3 TDs. Some others would be Antonio Brown, Gronk, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, really a lot of possibilities here.
J DiChiera nah that wasn't it. Only cardinal fans recognized him after that (I would know), the eagles game was when he was considered an elite rb by most people
I pretty much dreamed of making a catch like this my whole childhood. Diving backwards. One-handed. Fouled. Touchdown. Barely in-bounds. 3-4 fingers. Absolutely insane
I remember watching this game live and the moment i saw him grab that ball one handed i got chills and said before the announcers could say anything "that was the best catch i have ever seen, wow" left me speechless. amazing athlete. Coming from a raiders fan
As a giants fan. Odells first few seasons is when he was great. Good receiver. Cared about the game and worked hard. Eventually became a celebrity and thought he was the hottest shit on the team and he was never the same
Do a *"NFL rookies breaking other NFL players records"* the play that got the record . Like Dak breaking Tom Brady's most pass attempts to start a career without an interception .
1:30 "I'm telling ya this guy will make some of the most amazing catches you have ever seen" Odell proceeds to make one of the greatest and most iconic catch of all time.
Nah Odell was tearing it up way before this game, he was going off I remember I had him on my fantasy team I picked him 2 weeks before they played the falcons which was his first game, dude was a monster. He missed the first 4 games of the season and ended up with 91 receptions 1200+ yards and 12 tds!!! I’d say he became famous/well known for the catch he made on Sunday night. But to say this where it started, no sir.
NYG & OBJ were a match made in heaven. He was made for the spotlight, but NYG decision makers couldn’t move on from Eli and didn’t surround him with enough talent to even make the playoffs. That catch is still the greatest of all time.
2:20 those gloves improved his chances to catch that pass from like a 5% to like 65%. If you've never felt gloves like that than they are very sticky and they make it way easier to catch
AM Vlogs I mean, it's as much of a juke as someone with Brady's blistering speed can do, not sure it would be a juuke if done by anybody else not named manning
I remember exactly what i was doing while watching this game live on TV. I was standing up with my jaw to the ground. It's the greatest catch of all time in my opinion.
This is my favourite football player because he made this catch right before the day before my birthday and that's is when I really got into the nfl.. that game will never be forgotten 11/23
Good idea for a video! Some suggestions: maybe doesn't need to be 'famous' but could be 'infamous' or 'hated' as well: Chad Johnson/Ochocinco Burfict Crabtree
That's a catch I'll never forget. The world will never forget that catch, that's going to live forever and ever. They're going to be that catch back and back for the next 100 years.
Julian Shipp J.R. I don't think the injury harmed his career. Most injuries like a broken ankle isn't going to harm a career most likely. An injury like Ryan Shazier's or Zach Miller's will probably harm a career because those are more serious. I don't think it harmed Ryan Shazier's career. But I think it harmed Zach Miller's career some what. Odell should be coming back for the 2018-2019 season though.
I saw a video like this about Steph Curry and I thought it would be cool to make at least one for an NFL player. Who better than to start with OBJ. Anyway, is there another player that you guys would want to see in a video like this?

haha "gimmie a Odell"
Haha for us nfl fans in Australia every body was saying this too
Yea I was watching the game and then the next day at recess I was like "throw me an Odell!"
I was the same but except I intercepted it as an Odell but wasn’t near out of bounds
Bruh that’s so true wtf

“This guy will make some of the most amazing catches you will ever see.”
Next Clip: 1:46 “that may be the greatest catch I’ve ever seen.”
1:28 Prophetic words from the announcer.
Seriously, little did Al knew at the the time he spoke a revelation into existence
because *the* catch happened later during the same game
I am from the future, his words are not true

1:29 unintentional foreshadowing is the best kind of foreshadowing
More like the catch that got him famous
Lavar Ball if u didn’t kno him before the catch then there’s something wrong with u
J.J B I didn't know anything about him before the catch tbh and I'm a cowboys fan I didn't even know about this guy untill the catch
3 weeks before this game he had 8 receptions and 156 yards. He also had 4 receptions for 44 yards and a TD in his debut
J.J B i didn’t know about him until the catch 😂 but I’m a raider fan, you probably don’t even know other players from other teams, that’s how Odell was
Caption Cookie same
I’ve seen the video of “the catch” probably a thousand times. I have never paid attention to the people in the background’s reaction until watching it this time. It was the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done!
1:29 he called it
Admit it. You came here for 1:46
True
ELITE BOII yep
Nah his other plays were fun to watch
Yeah
No sh*t
Just imagine NFL without gloves
Just imagine trying to catch a 65 mph 11 inch football all game
I mean, these are top players with a lot of experience. They are REALLY good at catching, so I don’t think gloves would make a big impact on their gameplay. For sure, a little but it’s mostly hand eye coordination etc
Noah Sinishtaj definitely a cowboy fan
Butter fingers
Look up Odell on sports science he made the same catch with gloves
David Johnson would be a good one for this. That game against Philly in his rookie season he had something like over 200 total yards and 3 TDs. Some others would be Antonio Brown, Gronk, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, really a lot of possibilities here.
Yea in my opinion he got famous when he Took the kick return back against the bears
J DiChiera nah that wasn't it. Only cardinal fans recognized him after that (I would know), the eagles game was when he was considered an elite rb by most people
That was the game edp had that crazy rant
J DiChiera yeah as a Bears fan I remember that but that was really the only play he made that day.
Josh #LarryFitz #BetterThanMoss #11GOAT BIRDGANG ok I live in az and watched that game thanks for the heads up

Nah flex tape be lying lmfao

"I'm telling ya this guy will make some of the most amazing catches you have ever seen"

The title is "the game that made him famous" not "the game when he started tearing it up"
I remember I was watching it with my fam on Thanksgiving and the catch was the best I've ever seen
NYG & OBJ were a match made in heaven. He was made for the spotlight, but NYG decision makers couldn’t move on from Eli and didn’t surround him with enough talent to even make the playoffs. That catch is still the greatest of all time.

the gloves caught the ball 🤓🤓🤓
Can you do a video of legends getting embarrassed (either by rookies, or other legends e.g. Brady juking urlacher)
I never heard that Brady juked Urlarcher. I will search that up in a few minutes. That will be pretty funny.
AM Vlogs I mean, it's as much of a juke as someone with Brady's blistering speed can do, not sure it would be a juuke if done by anybody else not named manning
Odell wouldn’t be so famous if Joe Buck had been the commentator
Oh wow a good catch. Looks like some flags but the officials are saying touchdown
Aaaand cawt. Flag on the play.
Mitchell would he and his partner in crime Aikman give him their famous GOLF CLAP.
When Al Michaels said “he’ll make some of the most amazing catches you’ve ever seen” at 1:35, he was foreshadowing

nick killer or how about every no hitter ruined in the first inning

Wow that catch is truly the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen on a football field
The title should’ve said
-the catch that made Odell famous
The day after this catch at recess was awesome everyone was like give me an Odell or lob it up
Game that got JJ Watt famous.

I remember watching this game and when he made that catch.👏🏻 it was *AMAZING*
1:29 and that was 3 minutes before his insane one handed catch, little did they know.
Crazy how Eli Manning has thrown passes that resulted in some of the most amazing catches
They’re so amazing because his passes are so inaccurate and all over the place lmao
1:48 this moment change Odell life forever

Kick him In the face the game that made the browns punter famous.

@@georgebozinovski9401 😂😂😂
George Bozinovski that was in 2014 and I was 11 then
his quickness is just on a completely different level than anybody else, not to mention his ridiculous ball skills.
It should say the catch that made Odell famous
Lol you could see the frustration in the cowboys defense towards the end with how hard they were trying to hit him
I only hope for Odell and The Giants to do great this coming season. GO GIANTS!
fast forward 3 years: obj is on the rams and won a sb
2:17 i like the cameraman’s look in the back

The Game That Made Tom Brady Hated (2015 AFC Championship Colts @ Patriots)
Mine My Thoughts it was way before that lol
Yes
I thought that the game that made Brady hated was the 2001 AFC Divisional vs Raiders
Faxx, tuck rule was way worse and this is coming from a colts fan lol
1991
I kinda just like looking at everyone's faces and reactions on the sideline when he goes up to make that catch
This is the best example of these "Made famous" videos. Like he was no one until this game.

This game was my first NFL game experience ever and I absolutely loved it
Larry Fitzgerald and this guy need to team up
