- In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how I made this Geometric Watercolor Cake. You truly do not need to have painting experience to do this technique. It is VERY forgiving. This is done with gel good coloring mixed with Everclear and applies with fluffy brushes. I hope you decide to give it a try!

I got them from Cake Safe, buy Amazon has a few choices also.

I use Everclear;) Rejuvenating spirit works well too

Mary can you please do a buttercream hot air balloon with teddy bears it for my son baptism cake so am is me 2 close friends every one son is like a month apart am looking at way's to make 3 mini cake's with keep with the teddy bear and hot air balloon themed help please really want to make the toppers for myself am no one want fondant

Sure! You can watercolor pn buttercream. Just make sure it is chilled and set first. You may have to return it to the fridge if it starts to get soft. And then pipe the lines. Set again and paint the gold. The gold paint won't be as vibrant, but you will get something similar.
