I wonder if a tiny dash of the golden mixed into the pearl would create a beige color like the Wella toners beige line does. Not exactly the same but similar. A violet-gold base?

  • @KillTheSacredHeart

I had the blonde and caramel shade! tried both on platinum hair. The blonde one fades beautifully into a very light golden blonde, the caramel whatsoever went straight to a natural copper tone, there was no mauve or mushroom tones in it (base was untoned platinum blonde with a slight yellow tone). I'd say the colour lasted about 1-2 hairwashes and the stain for about 5-6 more. Both were super easy to remove/dye over. The Hair felt nicely conditioned after usage. I would love to see you try the pearl blonde or lilac shade to get a cool blonde tone!

I've used the first 3 on bleached hair. The blonde has a yellow tone, caramel pink tone, copper orange red tone. My fave was the copper it fades after every wash until the original bleach colour. It's very useful to have strong colour leave on 30mins and for a tint water down with conditioner leave on for 15mins. I also tried the red which is a strawberry red. Obviously the more you apply the longer you leave in the longer it lasts to get rid of quickly use a strong shampoo like head and shoulders. Much easier to remove from skin as this is conditioner based it's just a coloured coating that gradually wears off depending how often you wash your hair. It's also much cheaper than other brands. Useful in squeeze tube as I just use what I need in an empty yogurt pot keep the rest for later.

I love the caramel shade on me, I have dark blonde hair and pale skin and it gives me a warmth to my skin & hair . It comes out after about 6 washes but I tend to use it to give me a few extra weeks when my permanent shade is fading and looking a bit hollow - it gives it back richness. I've had a hairdresser try and neutralise red I had in, paid £60 to get back to a dark blonde, via a bleach bath and dying a colour they recommended, 2 weeks after and my hair looks crappy, red coming through, ginger on top, quoted £90 to do more to try and look more normal but I've had to cancel this appointment as I just can't afford it. I wonder what would happen if you tested the mauve-y color as it is intended (meaning, test it as depositing color on a faded caramel base)... Cause I can see it *maybe* working on a previous darker shade just to bring it back to that luscious caramel if it is not as blode or as light as your swatches... But that is just the curiosity in me speaking xD

    • @mechantechatonne
      @mechantechatonne Рік тому +2

Yeah, I think it's mauvey because caramel colors can go orangey and brassy as they fade, so it tracks when refreshing them you'd want something with some mauve to it to cancel that out and bring you back to a more neutral color.

Thanks for your video! Like, so much. You just saved my hair (kinda). I usually buy the Golden Glaze, and accidentally bought the Caramel Glaze this time. I didn't really think they would be that much of a difference, since I used caramel and golden colour conditioners from other brands interchangeable for a while and there was never a huge difference. But while I waited for it to take, I checked out if there were any videos on the caramel glaze on blonde hair, and seeing how dark it got on your test strands, I washed it out sooooo fast. 😂 You probably saved my hair from turning to a mucky brown, and it only turned a somewhat dark natural ginger. Something I can definitely live with for a week or two.
So, long story short: let me thank you again. You literally saved my week(s) 😂

My new growth shows gray a lot, but because of sun bleaching, they blend in by 3-4 inches down. I use the caramel to do a shadow root before big events. Washes out in 3-4 shampoos. It's just enough to blend everything but w/o real commitment (to be clear it doesn't fully cover them, think quick camouflage). And you get a lot! A tube will give 4 root applications easy.

the caramel glaze came out muuuuch more caramel on my light blonde hair which was cute-ish but also reminded of an 8bit video game hair color hue lol i even mixed it with golden gloss and still was alright cute more for fall even, just like the golden gloss itself reminded me more of a fall blonde it didnt tho come out looking like yours , it was pretty but i felt the golden gloss came out better on your swatch. my hair is bleached and just about the same level lightness as the swatches. just toned more. prob the tone effects it as well. and i also did mix chocolate touch and golden or caramel im sorry i forget which but it came out a gorgous brown and rinsed out over two weeks perfectly, i didnt bleach it out and no stains were left maybe the roots as they were grown out left a little darker after all that. the ends are bright as can be, can't even tell my hair was brown a few weeks ago. i do like to use john frieda highlights blondes shampoo (i feel it even works better than their blonde brightening line) to get out some of the masks or any over-toning in the next few showers and it works great.

This is helpful. I’m a L2, 25% gray, coarse and I use Color Touch equal parts 4/0 and 6/0 to tint my grays to be a dark brown. I never put anything on my ends as I like lighter ends, and they fade out golden and faintly copper. I’ve been looking for something to refresh my ends that doesn’t need developer. I’ll prob use 1 part Chocolate Touch and 5 parts Caramel Glaze and let it sit for 30 min. I think the Caramel Glaze went mauve bc there wasn’t enough copper filler to anchor it into developing more golden.

Why use bleach on the hair to show how they fade? Doesn’t make any sense what so ever. They are not permanent colors but wash-outs! Would’ve been normal to just wash the hair pieces and see when the color is gone… also, BECAUSE these are just fading masks they’re not meant to be bleached upon! That’s why you get the bright, crazy orange. I just don’t understand your way of doing it, it’s not the way you’re supposed to get them out… they. are. wash-outs.

I've used the copper and gold on bleached blonde hair like a shampoo and it washed out easily. No need for bleach. Was disappointed how RED their "copper" was.
Btw, color oops and removers like that are meant to remove permanent hairdyes (as with peroxide), so I would not bother using them to remove color conditioners

I have a dark brown to copper balayage for about half a year and I used the copper mask shortly before Christmas to revive it. It came out with an extreme red tone and it looked like a brown to red balayage for a while. I wash my hair two times a week and it faded nicely, but very slowly. I used it again this week, but this time with 1 part copper mask, 2 parts conditioner and it still came out extremely vibrant. I have about a third left in the tube and in two to three months I'm going to use it with 4 parts conditioner. But if anyone can recommend me a more ginger/orange kind of copper mask I'd appreciate it.

Can I may ask how much time it requires to fade away? I wanted a copper colour and now I’m a brunette/ red girl and I don’t like it😅 I was thinking to buy anti-red shampoo..
Also, they are my natural hair ( the dark colour)

I’ve always steered clear of color oops because of the smell but it really does the job better sometimes.

I was gunno ask if you’ve tried the glaze product! It’s exactly the same just a different brand. I’ve got blue hair and I’ve put the black glaze on my hair it last for 3/4 washes and my hairs back to blue! It’s insane

What is a copper hair color you'd recommend that would come off more easily in your opinion? I am a blonde right now, and i do want to mess with it, but when it comes to those red undertones, i get scared cause trying to get them out always end up with me looking like chucky first aha

Same! I’m looking for a copper temporary color, but one that will last more than a day and my hair will fade back to normal. I’m scared to do it because I love my blonde, but I want to change it up

ooh i wonder what would happen if you used the copper mask on wet hair for like 5 or 10 mins?? might cancel the blue! you could even dilute it with more conditioner for the top (just an idea /gen)

I've tried both chocolate brown and copper and honestly hated both. I used them to dye my hair, not to just refresh my colour, so i put it straight on bleached hair and it came out patchy as hell. the copper is truly far too red, while i prefer much more yellow-based coppers. The same with the chocolate brown. It somehow fades through bright red and both of them stained my hair like crazy. Not a fan.

Hey girl. I love the guy tangs big 9. I used it on my son who has black hair and its thick. He wanted purple and blue fade. And it took like not even 15min and his hair was like already turning platinum blonde quick. If you want too bleach your hair I recommend guy tang big 9 with 6vl for roots and 40vl on mids and ends. One love ✌🏼❤ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🖤

I'm naturally either a strawberry blonde or Auburny red I'm not really sure because I've been dying my hair blonde since high school but I've been really wanting to try a red shade (not orange) but I'm so freaking scared lol most people tell me don't do it cuz it won't look right but what they don't know is that my blonde is not natural it just suits me because I'm a natural redhead so I have blond eyelashes and blonde eyebrows and my face is full of freckles but they're more of a tan not red. I don't know what to do. I've been binge-watching all your color removal videos just in case I eff up. Not sure if I should do semi, demi, redken shades EQ toner, or a deposit mask like this just so many options and my brain can't handle it 😭😂
