I just came across your video and I had some tips for you as far as coloring goes. I know im 7 months behind in commenting. 30vol was good the 1st time however if you're doing a 2nd process, use a 20vol or mix equal parts 20 and 10 to get a 15vol. The hair shouldn't feel like straw. Yes, manic panic is "conditioning" but it doesn't do enough to combat the damage done by over processing. I recommend adding olaplex to your bleach mixture before applying it to your clients hair. When it comes to thick hair its best to mix the bleach into a creamy texture. The more runny it is the harder its going to be to fully saturate the hair. Rule of thumb. If you can see the hair underneath, there's probably not enough bleach. Idk if your client brought in the manic panic or if you had it in the shop, but I recommend using Iroiro or Lunar Tides. These color brands are also Vegan and Cruelty Free and they're easier to remove and change often, unlike Manic Panic.
