Thank you very much Rajvir - this is the first video that explains OPC UA so well! I have been looking at so many videos and finally yours actually jelled everything up! I like it the fact that you used 2 different well-known software the explained the protocol.
Thank you so much for yo0ur videos. I have a question do you always need a PC to access OPC UA or is there another way to use it into without a PC forexampel in remote areas.
Hi Ranveer, I have multiple datatypes from my simulation. The NSI and datatypes must be specified manually in the software I use. Is there any limit to use same NSI ?
Hey Rajvir hope you are doing well. Can you tell me how to install OPC UA Server Simulation. Is it a free software? can you please share the link to download.
hi rajvir je ! I want to know is is possible to connect with two diffrent pc with out physical connection or onside i m using plc n other side i m using oled display can i use this there also ! Please suggest
Hey Rajvir. This tutorial is absolutely great! Something I’m confused about is you selected Security Mode = None when connecting to the simulation server. Yet the client asks you to explicitly trust the certificate from the server. Shouldn’t it ask to approve certificates only when more secure connection is used (Sign or Sign&Encrypt)? Thanks.
Dear Rajvir thank you for this great tutorial, As I understood from the video, there are two parts of the software "server and client". the client part will be installed on the master PC and the server part will installed on the slave PC, is this an correct expression?
You can have opc server and client on the same terminal. The communication is based on server-client interaction. We do not see server-server interaction. This reminds of messaging pattern in publish/subscribe messaging model where you can have many clients connected to one server for message exchange.
Hello Rajvir, thanks so much for this video. Please, i am trying to find how to change the "hostname" to an IP address and Can not get how to do that. Could you give me pointers on how to do this?
Hi Rajvir you’re a gem, thanks you this awesome video 👍, I’m planning to purchase your course, may i know if I subscribed, I can get access to the new courses after I subscribe? Or only can access the available courses on the time I purchase?
Hi Rajvir.. I m facing issues while connecting to the Prosys OPC-UA server (which is installed in one of my google cloud server) from my local pc (where the UA expert is being installed). I have entered the Public IP of the server followed by the port number and all. I hv also opened the port 53530 at server end but, still the Bad Timeout error is displaying in UA Expert.
Hi i have tried in readinf and writing data from opc ua server and to client. But in client when i changes the value it does not change ...how to make it
Do you know how can I connect a Python freeOpcUA client program to modify this variables? I1ve been getting an error, like [WinError 10061] no connection could be made
@@thegeterrdone actually, I was trying a simulation with an opc server tool that needs the hardware for operating OPC Ua. Now I could solve the client connection well. Thanks for answering!
Sir I am from india I am working on phoenix cantact inline controller series so pla make videos on phoenic plc bcoz we can got other plc video easily but no one make video on phoenix so pls sir
Excellent video to understand OPC UA using free OPC UA client and server applications. This is simple and best video among the videos I watched.

Hi Rajvir
Well done. Keep going, we need you.
Thanks for your tutorials fo OPC UA!

You can use NodeRED OPC UA client in any edge device to read the data from server. The OPCUA client can also be in your mobile phone
Excellent help. I'm subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!
can you please share the software link
Just amazing lesson! A lot of userfull information given with simple exaple. Thank you for that!
You are welcome :)
While watching this video, it feels like very easy. But it isn't. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome :)
Thank you so much for the video, it was so useful, I could test my EdgexFoundry OPC-UA Device service.
Sounds great :)
Eres la onda.!!thanks

Question: I have a computer with Rockwell but it has opc-da. Can i use Prosys to have opc-ua on that computer?
I am not sure if Prosys supports OPC DA as well but kindly reach out to their support
Many thanks for this tutorial!

So useful! Thank u so much
Thank You so much for this. It is very useful.

Thanks for sharing. Please, can you tell us what software you use in this vídeo?
Prosys as you can see :)
The link to download the software isn’t in the description.
You can check their website.
Hi Rajvir, is it possible to export nodes in Prosys OPC UA simulation server from one pc to another ?
Yes it is possible :)
Hi i have tried in readinf and writing data from opc ua server and to client. But in client when i changes the value it does not change ...how to make it
If you have successfully made the connection to the server then you only need to check the OPC UA tag address. Make sure you are following the format
Thanks, It is a very good .
Nice video.. Thanks.. It helped a lot.
You are welcome. To watch my complete series on these topics you can check learn.codeandcompile.com
Hello! Is it possible to simulate array data type? also, is it possible to create a custom data type (i.e. Structure)? thank you!
Yes that is possible :)
Do you have tutorial on kepserver & Node red??
PlC-Kepserver-Node_Red..
No, I do not bur for what purpose do you need that for?
How can we perform dos attack on this server
Is it necessary to have Server and client on the same network? Can I access it remotely?
Yes, it is necessary for both of them to be on same network. You can use VPN to connect to them remotely
Where is the link for downloading server client simulation??
Kindly check Prosys website :)
where would you grab the certificates from.
From www.codeandcompile.com
have you used ignition SCADA from Inductive automation ?
Yes ofcourse. What you want to say? I even have a course on it at learn.codeandcompile.com
@@thegeterrdone I mean what is difference between ignition SCADA and prosys server/client.
Hi bro... I want to create simulation for OPC UA using Advosol SDK can you pls help me in this
Sorry, never used that SDK. Didn't they have a manual?
they have but it's not properly understandable..
I want to know is it possible if the server resides in windows xp and the client in android. Is it possible then?
Yes absolutely
