  • I have been barefoot since the beginning of February 2020 with the exception of 4 days when I was with my parents. This video was shot before that. I trekked for 9 hours last week and in this video I show my feet if it has cuts and bruises after trekking on an unexplored trail in the mountains. I have also shared the pictures of the trek in this video.
I got a lot of cuts on my hands while trekking. I have compared my feet with my hands in this video.

Our feet get so stressed staying stuck in shoes for long hours. It also loses its mobility. Being barefoot is essential for holistic healthy living so that our feet can keep all its mobility and strength.
To me now I love being barefoot. It makes me feel centred, balanced and in synch with energies and enviornment around me.

As I commented in another video of yours, I barefoot hike as well in the mountains and deserts. The confidence from having strong feet is immense. By the way, your healthy lifestyle is keeping you looking great with that long shiny hair flat stomach and strong feet. Keep it up and thanks for sharing your lifestyle with us.

I have moved to a warmer climate and made a routine of walking barefoot several km along the beach a few times a week. Thanks for making these videos! The more that videos and articles like yours are made, the more it’ll (hopefully) become more common and acceptable among the mainstream. Most people don’t like wearing shoes anyways, but have been conditioned to think that without them on, we’re gonna get jabbed, stabbed or poked! But most outsiders don’t know that your soles toughen and muscles strengthen the more you go barefoot. If people knew this, I think the negative stigma around bare feet might lessen.
Kudos to you for 10 months! I started going barefoot in February too, but due to unrelated back/neck pain stopped going on my daily walks around April. I was still barefoot 24/7 (except when going out, which was maybe once or twice a week at that time), but I unfortunately caved back in August and started wearing shoes again once I became more active with going places. I regret stopping, because I was juuust starting to see the effects of going barefoot on my soles (strong, leathery skin, but also soft), but stopped before making any notable progress. My leg strength improved immensely though, for the 5 or so months I was barefoot. That’s my New Years Resolution for 2021: To get back on track with my barefoot walking and strengthening.
Do you happen to have any before/after pictures of how your feet looked before your 10 month journey, compared to now? It’d be interesting to have a video where you compare the two, and maybe even give advice to people who are skeptical. One of the coolest things about barefooting (at least to me), is the fact that your body really can adapt to rough terrain without needing high-arched, sole cushioned shoes. When I found that out I wanted to try it for myself to see if it was actually possible. It is, but like I said above, the journey isn’t easy (I’ve tried/stopped more than once) so hopefully 2021 will be the year for me to “perfect” barefoot walking! Good job on the videos 👍

Thank you so much for your lovely message.
All the best on your journey to ne barefoot in 2021. I would love to keep hearing about your progress. Also, its alright that you couldnt keep up with barefooting. If barefooting is about freedom then choosing sometimes not to be barefoot is also a part of it. :)
At the same time, am very impressed that you are so much into the grounding earthling and working on your feet. ♡
Unfortunately I cant find any pics of before, when I started barefooting I started very naturally without thinking. I had moved to the mountains then and just felt natural to be barefoot and my friends were also barefooting do it was just the flow for me.
Happiest new year and beyond to you. Loads of love from India ♡♡

Amazing pictures at the end of the video. You live in a stunning place of the world. Great update of your latest adventure. Sounds like your feet are getting alot more tougher which will allow you to be barefoot for longer periods in the future. Walking barefoot on different textures is a great feeling. When you go on these hikes, do you carry any shoes as a back up in case you need them? If you didn't, I think it is brilliant that you went completely barefoot and just used your senses of where you step. Happy barefooting and happy Christmas.

@@ExpandLove That's brilliant that you didn't take any shoes with you. Going somewhere barefoot and not taking shoes is a good confidence booster for your own self esheem. I go barefoot into my local town all the time and the more you go barefoot in public places, I personally think it gives you more confidence to carry on and believing that going barefoot is a wonderful way to live your life. Now with winter is approaching, I'll continue to go barefoot everywhere and I hope you'll be able to as well in India. Happy Christmas and all the best for 2021.

Hey Paul, yes its very amazing how it works with the self esteem. In the airport and cities it's a bold step to be barefeet. People just judge so fast if they see you without shoes. It's been incredible experience for me to be barefoot. I love it. Last few days around my parents I wore shoes and truly I can feel it again how amazing it to have my feet on the grass connected with mother earth. I do wish to keep going barefoot and I think I will. It's not so cold out here yet. I wish you all the best for barefooting and everything else as well. Much and much love ♡♡. I wash my hair with karthika shampoo, once in 10 days. The name is funny, just a coincidence my friends introduced me to it. I will share the picture of it. It's a herbal powder. It keep the volume. I dont comb my hair much :). Jatae ban jati hai. Haha. This is all I do for my hair. I eat clean and healthy too. Exercise. Keep my inner space clean and beautiful - very much like you.
My hair doesnt get dirty here. When I was traveling, it got dirty instantly. When I was home for 5 days recently my mom put olive and coconut oil on it and the next she put heena. It was super conditioned from that.
Hope it answers your question ♡♡

Some quotes about the bare feet:
~ "The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art".- Leonardo da Vinci (1452 - 1519)
~ "What spirit is so empty and blind, that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed ?" - Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475 - 1564)
~ “Going barefoot in the forest is a very sensuous and a pleasurable experience. For some of us it is almost a mystical experience. I know that I dreamt of it long before I ever durst try it. It is also an experience that brings into question our entire relationship with nature in a way that disturbs and challenges our ideas about ourselves as civilized beings.”- Richard Keith Frazine, The Barefoot Hiker
