You don't know your ass from your elbow!
Ikeh ikeh
Thank you for your service !, God Bless US Navy
Thank you Navy for our many freedoms!!
I trained in Canada for a year to go sub mariner and was turned down as I was 6'7". I never forgave them for that oversite !
Submarine is a superb engineering masterpiece. It is great to be in it.
everything is amaizing from technology, construction, to the management and the coordinations
Inside the submarine of USA ..Watching the video , Thank you very much.
The engineering and logistics that go into putting just one of these subs to sea is mind boggling!
What do You mean exactly?
Every submarine needs to have a full time chiropractor on staff!
They are larger and better laid out than the early strategic Subs, they don't seem to be to cheap either the technology is so much better and beyond what the earlier Submarines were capable of, because there's no point in standing still, not taking advantage of the innovation in Maritime Scientific research and it doesn't matter which Country's Submarines you're looking at there's going to be Secrecy around some equipment, there's a British Submarine Documentary and the Guy who goes abroad to stay with the Crew on a short Cruise from one port to the next asks some silly questions about the Submarine and its equipment and the Officer replied "I can't answer that" or my favourite answer "That Information is subject to the Official Secrets Act and therefore Classified"
Your all doing a great job...thanks
As a contractor working on these subs we take our job very seriously to make sure the sailors come home safe
I concur, 788 was the 3rd boat I helped build
Thank you
Until they don’t
@@austonboston4361 well everything has its risks I guess even driving a car.
God Bless the USS Colorado and all who sail in her.
As a 598 class boat sailor, it's nice to see the improvements. And it's nice to see the training continued.
Me too - 598 class; USS Theodore Roosevelt SSBN-600(B) for 7 years. Retired after 20.
688 sailor, it's never stopped! Training and field days...
As a 726 class sailor, it looks bigger than a 688. Lol. My son is in Groton right meow. Keeping the tradition alive
Just for grins, find a video tour of a U-Boat and check that out ... especially working in the diesel engine room ...
637 class. Proud to know I've been to test depth and didn't piss my pants.
GOD BLESS THIS GREAT NATION 🇺🇸
Amen. But make sure you know Jesus as your personal Savior ... this country is ... to tie into this video ... diving fast, as is the rest of the world.
Thanks, I always wanted to see how is it inside of submarine!
When I saw this video I could not believe it was a submarine is some of the parts actually look like a regular ship and or ship a very large thank you to these brave men that took on the mantle of such a dangerous job not saying no job in a military service is dangerous but God bless you and all of your brothers and sisters that serves to protect the United States of America One Nation under God and we will always remember those who has fallen and we'll always have the correct words on ellipse that will always yell out all colors never run
Proud of the USA for their assured dedicsyiijbtobduyy per time. In the air, on land or in the sea, the passion is just simply adorable.
You can see why it takes certain characteristics to live on a sub. Most can't handle it.
Yes. Those "characteristics" must include insanity ...

I don’t think a Carrier is any better, most do not see sunlight, except those on the flight deck, and that is not many of the crew, and a very dangerous location.
@@TheSchmedI I assume on break if you really are inclined to view sunlight you can get out to a cat walk or the stern. However you are bound by the laws of physics for months on end to never see the sun.
Like the wood paneling, nice touch!

Thanks for the views Topside, I served in 1970's on a SSN Permit class boat.
Thank you for serving on behalf of myself + 150 relatives and my clan has served throughout the years
USS John C Calhoun SSBN 630 Gold Crew 1971-1972
As a former 688I boat sailor, I can only look on in amazement at how beautiful those Virginia boats are. It would have been a pleasure to serve aboard one. Stay safe out there!
I watch these submariners sometimes for hours!
Okay thanks again for your time and effort into the world
Respect goes out to anyone who is on a sub. I’ll stay a ground pounder.
No shit. A co. 4/325th Airborne Infantry Regiment here .
@Truth Double Amen, Sir.
Thanks to all the crew!
Love catching up on the latest about the Submarine Fleet. I served 1961-1981 in the Sub Force; USS Grampus SS-523 for 1 year, USS Theodore Roosevelt SSBN-600(B) for 7 years and on the USS Thomas Edison SSBN-610(G) for another 5 years. Interspersed with shore duty at Saratoga Springs, N.Y. fr 3 years and Nuclear Repair Shop (10D) Supervisr in Pearl Harbor for a year and 1/2, before retiring with my 20. Always the Submarine Force!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was Edison 610 B 75-79
I Always Like the Submarines with the Dive Planes Wings on the Sail of the Ship.
God Bless America the brave Men and Women who have given their all for Freedom we owe a huge debt of gratitude to this great countries straightforward attitude a position may they continue to be that beacon
Starting at 11:20 to 11:37 the radar waves interfere with the camera, you can tell by the sound. Interesting.
I dont think i would want to stand in front of it either
It's low power probably below a kilowatt. So not very powerful compared to a normal 25 kW navigation radar on a surface ship.
I am glad that the comment section is not turned off
This submarines from the USA is very cool and awesome I love it
The USS Colorado? Damn am I proud. In my young days, we we worshipped our HOGS. The ground pounders know! But the A10 has nothing on this sub. Gone are the days of a type 7 crash dive! Love this boat!!!!!!!!
It’s amazing video, thank you for sharing this video
for a "quiet" boat, subs sure make a lot of alarm noise!
You got that right, with the alarms , klaxon going off and announcements all the . How in the hell can they sleep through all that racket ???
The Colorado is the 15th Virginia class? Already? Wow we are cranking out these Virginia class subs FAST.
SSN 803 Will be the U.S.S. Arizona!
Huh?
wati wati man na dili ko kasabot
I like this Submarine. Thank you ♥
US Navy. Finest in the world.
Very nice mission.Good luck from Greece !
Video definition of "Insane Asylum." God bless 'em ...
Das boot
Most important person on board is the cook
@Truth Yeh, he's a pretty good one ... But in my book, it's the guy who reads the road map and gets it to where it's going ...
@MrCloudseeker Was pretty much feeling the same thing ...
A video of life aboard a Virginia class attack boat... But nothing was mentioned about the reason for the boat's existence to start with... It's not a boomer...
It's got to be cold running in and out of Groton. The ski goggles were a nice touch. The fast attack guys always had fresh food.
Her crew is even better. Great bunch of guys
For a new sub they forgot the screen door they never show you how you flush your toilet on a submarine must be top secret do they take showers LOL
I love this stuff, but it's odd that there is no commentating.
Good job my Friend , so God bless America 🇭🇹🇨🇦🇩🇴🇨🇱🇨🇴🇪🇨🇵🇷🇺🇾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Amen to that brother. Vietnam class of 68/69 if you were an 11B and made it home alive, you jump to the head of the class. God Bless the 1st Air Cav 2nd Bat 8th CAV Abn 68/69!
I think submarines are a marvel. The firepower they pack is something else lol
WITH ALL MY HEART I THANK YOU 🙏 ALL I PRAY TO GOD ALMIGHTY THAT HE KEEPS YOU SAFE AND STRONG IN BATTLE OR IN PEACE 🙏 🇺🇸
I will "AMEN" that ...
Home style service is SO much better than having to train a newbie every patrol on how to put the food where you want it and how much of it you want. (Not only that, but get rid of the chow line setup and you gain quite a few square feet of deck space you can use for other things.
And while I am at it, I might mention that someone(s) seem to have forgotten how each individual frame of the USS Greenling SSN614 got to be seen from the outside of the hull. (We won't mention analog guages at all)
Varginia Class Submarines can cause serious damage when ordered to.
@@Shortatshot5028 Keeps your sorry ass safe!
Thank you guys!!! You are the very very best!!!! God bless ya. Getter done!!! But you must be crazy to get in a boat that sinks!!! Lol.
guess u havent hearedd of under water hypersonic missles that can find this junk in a sec hahah

Americans can sleep sound knowing that our subs are out there ready to defend their country! Thank you crews that serve on America’s tip of the spear.
This is awesome ! I see much more value in this than social program spending !
Wow, very well fed crew on board. Nice !
👿👿🤖😼🧒😈
I find the most arduous work in this sub is being performed by the cooks. Imagine storing, selecting and cooking three meals a day for a hundred men in this confined space in a long tube! And the men don’t seem very grateful to those true heroes who work their ass off everyday while the others are playing their peace time games.
I was a radioman and I'll freely admit the cooks make or break a crew. Good food = Happy Crew. Best cooks were able to still make decently edible food after the fresh stock ran out after a couple of weeks.
mga wati man na imo suwat.. tambaloslos
Why they walking funny ?couldn't they keep the ship level?
Making us Proud Gentlemen!
I was getting claustrophobic!! 😳

During peace people hard to realize they are protecting the human values, defend humanity against dictatorship
God bless the great USA
1:04 the sailor almost trip himself whoaa be carefull i think the ship is 20 degrees or something
Curry?
Yes, it's curry. Japanese Navy Curry is said to be delicious and is very popular!
※I am using Google Translate so the sentences may be strange.
Dear Russian Comrades and Chinese Hackers Tech Thieves,
That footage is not Photoshopped or from Disney or with a Robot narrator compared to your videos about your military might. It is an actual video. This is how you brag about your superiority, not robotic voice and photoshopped pictures. Don't be butthurt, USA will always be number 1. LMAO
Thanks
Under the water, on land, on Sea and in the air our men and women who serve deserve the best in food, medicine and equipment.
Love it I thank you Navy
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳
She is beautiful
Yes
thank you for no stupid background music
I am like you submarine😍😍😍😍😍
Greetings to our brave navy
And may God bless you back for noticing we serve
You're some lucky guys. Please and thank-you. It may not seem like it but you are on a happy ship. Social graces can make all the difference.

God bless all the US Navy personnel and submariners
More sophisticated then other class and too much facilities
I retired from the US Naval Submarine Force in 1997. Holy crap, how things have changed technically over the past 21 years! Touch screens on the BCP? Really? The drills & training...same old crap. Torpedo room...looks about the same but bigger. Freezing your ass off up on the bridge...same. Angles & dangles...always fun. Sliders on Fridays after field day...same, same. Gawd, what a flashback...
LOL, at least you didn't have to endure an LSD sailor. Marine 85-94. Just curious, did you guys ever play with the mail buoy watch gig? I got suckered into that on the Inchon as a Private, didn't know better, lol
@@colarguns Definitely had the mail bouy watch, sea bats and locating the navigator's balls...
@@JustShortOf OMG Navigator balls, that's hilarious. Never heard of that one. Another one they made me do, was to search for BA-1100 forms, which somehow equated to balloons. Ended up in the Chief's mess while all were drilling a hole in me, and I confidently asked my 1st Sgt if he had any BA-1100 forms, and obviously they all laughed me out of there, so gullible as a damn private! Thanks for the memories, miss that shit, would go back yesterday if they'd let me
QUESTION for Don.
While up on watch I notice a lot of stuff and railings and wires etc, see 6:53
When going underwater what happens to all the gear?
@@AlanMolstad All of that stuff is taken down and put below decks. The bridge is then rigged for dive and all hands go below decks. The railings are for the officer of the deck/CO/lookouts so it is not so cramped in the bridge opening. You also see a portable radar as well as a masted radar along with #2 scope for the contact coordinator below decks and a multi-function mast.
The most dangerous job ever. Thank you for your service.
