Now that you are running out of Creator sets, the real question is; Will Arkham Asylum become part of the city? Gotta have mental health care taken care of.
Penguin DT just made the decision to have an Avengers tower installed, combining 2 of them so be a wannabe Moc, if you have Arkham rated mental health, then The Avengers will use their "unlimited power" and "disregard for civilians" to help!
btw: with where you've put it in your city, you'd be able to remove the banister without putting the Patrons in danger AND be able to position some on the stairs too :) btw2: this set is perfect place to display any spare mini-figs you have cos there are seats galore in and out. I've got 30 in mine. QED.
@@timohara7717 It was a time during which I had spare money, and when I found a electric mini-scale in the street (I think a drugdealer had dropped it), and I had this idea of weighing mini-bags to work out what figure was inside (my feel game being poop). So i did that early one morning in a 24/7 supermarket. Weighed the bags and bought ones which weighed markably different to test my theory. They had 2 minifig boxes (2 types, not 2 of the same) so I did it for both.) Getting home, my chuffness with my ingenuity was quickly dashed as I realised there was no SPECIFIC weight for any particular figure. There was a range of weights for each one. AND these ranges sometimes crossed over, so a bag weighing X might be 3 or 4 figures. Sure there was a couple of outliers - ones which didn't weigh similar to others, so they were confidently identifiable, but the rest = nope. Thus my method basically sucked and I ended up with MANY duplicate minifigs and this is why I have a box of spare mini figs - and it is especially iritating that I did this for, lets say, not the most interesting of mini-fig series, so many dups of dull ones. Will make use of them when I finally build the large Ferris Wheel :)
Is she ready for the enormous amount of time she'll need building it? I love Legos but this was the most challenging set I've ever done. The thing that nearly broke me psychologically was having to sort through and arrange all the bits and pieces. When I was done (remember, this was before I even started building!) my back and my neck were so sore I had to take a 2-hour nap. I bought mine off Ebay and found out that the seller HAD built it before and tossed everything into one bag! LOL, spent an entire day just sorting through the pieces. Still missing 1-2 pieces but I can buy them off a missing parts website anyway.
I have this set and it's too complicated because the instructions aren't clear. In fact, they forgot one part on the third floor where you put the fireplace! Overall, the instructions should have been redone slightly because it sometimes took trial and error. Overall, expect to spend 2 hours a day over 2-3 days on this. What i hate is there are too many oddball parts that are VERY easy to lose. Lego should have made some of the smallest parts molded in one if they were so insistent on putting that many oddball parts. Overall, it's not the best one out there because the flip out wall on the top floor is so fragile. The weight of the wall causes the door on the right to come loose every so often. Not bad BUT not fantastic engineering. They could do better. If I rated this from 1 to 10, 1 being Don't even think about buying this, and 10 being you should splurge on this even if you pay a few bucks more than retail, I rate this a 6 and I feel that's being generous because it's so fragile and difficult to build and has too many oddball pieces.
absolutely the greatest set of all time!
Really like the modular buildings they look awesome. Especially together like that
Your city will be really epic. I cannot wait to see it finished.

Now that you are running out of Creator sets, the real question is; Will Arkham Asylum become part of the city? Gotta have mental health care taken care of.
Penguin DT as long as I make it in the city
Penguin DT just made the decision to have an Avengers tower installed, combining 2 of them so be a wannabe Moc, if you have Arkham rated mental health, then The Avengers will use their "unlimited power" and "disregard for civilians" to help!
Absolutely gorgeous set!
thumbs up for Jack's shirt
The fact is a great way to go back to my house and my friends
love this set (I have it), though the 3 stud wide outside stairs is too thin to position mini-figs on
btw: with where you've put it in your city, you'd be able to remove the banister without putting the Patrons in danger AND be able to position some on the stairs too :)

Lego was trying to imitate the "IONIC" pillars for the build.

Early yay nice review!
THE DETECTIVES OFFICE
I got that set
I really like these modular buildings but I 'm afraid If I buy one I'll keep having to buy more. They seem just a bit pointless(?) on their own.
thats what happened to me i bought the detectives office then assembly square went crazy and bout the green grocer and the petshop
Do the detectives office
