Tommy Sands Elvis Presley & The Colonel

Colonel Parker managed Tommy Sands before he found Elvis. Their early careers are almost identical!
Both had religious upbringings, played guitar and had a country music background. They also both played the Louisiana Hayride before being managed by the Colonel.
Before meeting the Colonel, they both released singles on independent record labels. Both were signed to RCA Records, by the Colonel, as their first national label. Interestingly, they both also followed an acting career.
