Steve,if you fry the garlic ,onion first ,then mix it with the rest it will be tastier.i use a sheep’s gbejna on top after its half cooked ,when you tip it over.it just melts and so delicious.

Use a grill also will help it rise and thicken

Right up my street, looks lovely. Just how we cook it at home, just vary the ingredients to suit your own taste. And I just love Maltese Bread.
