It rubbed me wrong that people kept posting the title and thumbnail on twitter saying “but he was a rapist” and “he was a pedophile” when they clearly didn’t watch the video, didn’t hear what Tom had to say, and thought he was just defending twomad. We’re really living in a world where you don’t need to watch a video to form an opinion on one 💀

with that being said I think the SA seems very plausible, but shouldn't be presented as fact unless the people, who have allegedly seen him go full ape with his dick out when she tried to leave, come forward and confirm her account of events.
I think a lot of people have a threshold or anchor point issues where they consider an accusation to be so damning that even the possibility or adjacency to the problem automatically means you are to some degree guilty (or at least a problem)
I'm going to sound quite egotistical here or something along those lines, but A LOT of people on the internet either lack reading comprehension/critical thinking skills or simply just not to exercise them most of the time. People are remarkably opinionated (and slow to, or never change their opinion in the face of evidence contrary to their opinion). If the average reader does not inherently agree with what you're saying or have some personal attachment to you as a person or creator, you will receive practically no benefit of the doubt when presenting your argument.

Anonymity makes people more “ballsy,” more willing to just say whatever shit, not thinking about what they’re saying or what they’re responding to. They have no reason to actually consider what you’re saying, because in any tangible way, you simply aren’t real. You know how it goes.

At 23, I was legitimately addicted to Adderall and did nothing but play Overwatch in my room. I did any drugs I could get my hands on and talked to absolutely nobody. I definitely OD'd once or twice (felt my heart stop, massive psychosis episodes). I fully believe Goldibelle, but this story totally breaks my heart. It's super close to home, but worse yet there's a lot of people out there in the same circumstance.
If you think that you're the one responsible drug user, or that you're gonna be fine and you don't need anyone, you're wrong man. Twomad didn't know he was gonna die that day, no addicts do, and you're not the one who's gonna make it.
Yeah it feels like his ego betrayed him. He definitely DID do all those things, but at the same time it's sad to see what TwoMad turned into.

I've never met someone who uses allot of drugs that even listens to what anyone says. They are usually super irresponsible and delusional. Telling them to stop won't do anything, the only thing that seems to make them stop is once their health declines or they OD and almost die.
It sounds harsh but most drug users really are lost causes and they don't even want help.
They are also terrible people alot of the time (probably mostly because of the drugs, but the point still stands), so even helping them can cause your own mental health to decline.

Cinnamontoastken has been trying to do drama style content for a while and knows nothing about what's going on with situations he covers. The commenter is not saying he's without blame, but rather saying that his situation is more nuanced than that. People enabled him, that's a fact not an opinion. Countless people may have tried to help him yes, but drastically more either enabled him or acted against him which undoubtedly hindered his chances of recovery.
Either you embarrassingly missed his main point, or you actually understood it, got defensive since you know yourself you're one of those people, and so created a poorly-made strawman in response.

Since the adpocolypse in 2017, and even before that in the latter half of 2016, they've become more iffy regarding anything that they fear could scare away advertisers. Doesn't matter if they're following their own policy or not when it's a privately-owned company with their own rules with legal ramifications. Yes, YT has improved since 17, but they still have their drawbacks.
