Aimee Connolly is an Irish makeup artist not a social media person as such obviously she does social media but she’s better know for being a makeup artist and her very popular in Ireland brand which I have never tried any of her products shockingly! Her face palettes are very very popular too but as said I can’t comment on them being good or bad as I’ve personally never used them!!
Thank you for this Karen. Are you able to recommend a setting powder that works? In the summer I always wear white blouses and shirts and my foundation always ends up on the collars. It’s putting me off wearing my white tops. So I need a decent setting powder or spray? Thank you! Hope you are well ❤
I have found the cheaper ones to be great such as 17 by Boots, and also the loose one by No7. I can't say they don't transfer though, I've never put make-up down my neck so it doesn't transfer (mostly). I'd say a setting spray would be better and the best one I've used is the urban decay all nighter (original). x

Please could you try 'Clinique Even Better serum foundation clinical' ( it has alot of skincare impressive ingredients including 3 types of vitamin C and is a satin matte finish, I look forward to your review 😇
I'm afraid Clinique isn't cruelty free so its not one I would buy, so sorry :0(
Hi Karen, thanks for the review. Unrelated, have you tried the Boots SPF+ range at all? They do one with (+) HA, one with Niacinamide and one with VitC, they're £7. No fragrance or alcohol in them. At that price I might give one of them a shot. Hope you're ok and have the warm sunshine up there too xx
I haven't tried it no, it has Avobenzone in it :0( I may well try it just to review, but wouldn't recommend it due to that. Thanks so much Jo, we do have the sun and I detest it lol. My allergies plus Kev's and Watsons are all in full swing, poor Watson gets it most. His paws go red and sore, his ears flare up, and we have to be really picky about walks i.e. finding somewhere that has water for Watson to dip in so he doesn't overheat. I'm Mrs Grumpy in summer lol. xx
@TheBeautyMaverick Oh no sounds like a total nightmare for you all. Poor Watson, he does suffer bless him. Well in that case I hope it rains all summer 😄. Shame about that sunscreen, I saw Octocrylene on the list so didn't think it was an issue but I've just looked it up and seen it's used as a stabiliser for Avobenzone, is that right? I never knew. It's so hard finding the right sunscreen, so many things to look out for. It was easier in the 80's, you only had Nivea or Ambre Solaire!! x
Have you tried the AYU concealer? It is self setting and doesn’t sit in fine lines at all

I haven't tried AYU but I try to buy local as in UK. x

Aww thanks! I don't have any secrets I'm afraid, I share everything with you guys! I've been using the No7 future renew serum for 3 weeks now, and I still use my Infrared device, that's about all. x
