Y’a know, since their feeling is expressed by the sisters I think it’s an necessary step to stop the hunter after all. Felt sad for them but gotta kill them all.
Ibushi was probably going to die anyway, since the scene doesn't change until he's close to death. Knowing that, I'd say Ibushi made the best choice he could for his species.

I don’t think people realizing that Magnamelo was decked out willing to fight an All-Mother Narwa tooth and nail since he went full raged mode the moment he saw her. Truly commendable from a non elder Apex.

I love it when narwa just drops a bunch of energy and the music starts to muffle when the explosion hits, all while your loading a bunch of rounds into her from a Gatling gun.
They do that quite a bit in this game - the music gets muffled when an incredibly loud sound plays, such when Apex Arzuros roars or when Splitting Wyvernsfire hits the ground.
Magnamalo isn't in this fight just *because*. He is here because he always follows the rampage. And Allmother Narwa is the source. Safe to say he found the rampage.

Magnamalo looks like he's specifically born to hunt them on the other side of this. A Magnamalo only starts causing chaos during a Rampage which follows he is pursuing Ibushi who is probably upsetting his hunting patterns. Essentially both Elder Dragons and Magnamalo have a common enemy.

I know this is apparently an unpopular opinion, but allmother isn’t just my favorite monster hunter final boss, it’s my favorite final boss in general. Not only does it check all the boxes on what makes a good final boss (epic theme, visual spectacle, and puts everything you’ve learned about the game up to the test) it specifically shows off the mechanics of rise super well, having a lot of attacks that encourage wirebug use while at the same time punishing blindly wirefalling back, as well as showing off the upgraded siege weaponry from the rampages, and even throwing in a little wyvern ride before the grand finale of the fight commences. I will admit I’m probably biased here since rise was my first monster hunter but this final boss really did take everything that made rise special and cranked it to 11, and maybe outside of the wyvern ride done in a way that didn’t feel forced.
while it isn't my personal favorite final boss in monster hunter (that's ahtal-ka from MHGU), I agree that holy shit they KILLED it with Allmother Narwa. She is everything a final boss in monster hunter SHOULD be, and unlike xeno-jiiva, her fight is actually really fun and challenging. I was so heartbroken in world when both zorah magdaros and xeno-jiiva were so disappointing, thankfully they really kicked it up for the post-launch and expansion monsters like kulve taroth, safi-jiiva, alatreon, and fatalis.

It is how the eggs are fertilized, I find that kind of a neat way to be not as risque as saying: yeah they bang like no tomorrow but rather he sacrifices himself willingly and his life essence then fertilizes her eggs which we see in her electro sac there now, ibushi will always die but narwa will keep the line going
Never forget that proof of a hero is canon as the hunter you played as has heard it and sometimes whistles it when calling your palamute. Which means it was a song that was created to honor hunters who overcame the odds and defeated monsters that could level countries thus becoming true heroes. Which could be the reason why the song is always slightly different and why it always plays during pivotal moments swapping out monsters like Fatalis' theme with proof of a hero when its near death, You're stopping them and proving you're a hero

Honestly, this theme was definitely a call back to an older game due to the vocals. Reminds me so MUCH of the Elder Leviathan fight in Moga Woods back in MH3 Tri.

I know the game WANTS you to Wyvern Ride the "surprise guest" in the middle of the fight, but I have this theory that not doing so prevents Proof of a Hero from playing, and it's when Proof of a Hero starts to play that Narwa goes into her final and most vicious attack pattern. Therefore, it might make the fight easier to just not ride the "surprise guest". Anyone care to test this?
There is no story related about why Magna shown up on the quest Im pretty sad the build up not exist in Shara quest Ruin Nergi show up on final phase + proof of hero and he join the force to stop Shara would be 100% aweseome I love what Capcom doin, cant wait ultimate version
This is more like an answer to Magnamalo's purpose rather then a anticipated thing like Nergigante. He follows the Rampage to not only satisfy his hunger, but rid of Narwa & her offspring, who are seen as pest attempting to destroy the ecosystem. Basically, Narwa is like an invasive species of Rat while Magna is the Cat that hunts them. Or, to aline more to context, a samurai slaying a pesky demon/yokai.

Narwa overpowers Magna quickly, what makes people think Narwa would be eaten or killed by Magnamalo? That would suggest him to be MUCH stronger then Rajang, Deviljho and all other base elder dragons including Nergigante and Velkhana. It would make him on the level of even Shara or Amatsu. He’d be the strongest non elder dragon creature ever.

The fight is such an experience, one of my favorites in the series
The intro also acts as a sad ending to Ibushi. Finally with his queen and she absorbs it’s power.
He was already dying, you can see them doing their dance and embrace one last time before she bit him
When proof of hero plays, you know one of your teammate will die because of the dragonnator.

Honestly, this theme was definitely a call back to an older game due to the vocals. Reminds me so MUCH of the Elder Leviathan fight in Moga Woods back in MH3 Tri.

I know the game WANTS you to Wyvern Ride the "surprise guest" in the middle of the fight, but I have this theory that not doing so prevents Proof of a Hero from playing, and it's when Proof of a Hero starts to play that Narwa goes into her final and most vicious attack pattern. Therefore, it might make the fight easier to just not ride the "surprise guest". Anyone care to test this?
proof of a hero does not play if you miss the wyvern ride or mess it up but it doesnt make it easier

There is no story related about why Magna shown up on the quest
Im pretty sad the build up not exist in Shara quest

This is more like an answer to Magnamalo's purpose rather then a anticipated thing like Nergigante. He follows the Rampage to not only satisfy his hunger, but rid of Narwa & her offspring, who are seen as pest attempting to destroy the ecosystem. Basically, Narwa is like an invasive species of Rat while Magna is the Cat that hunts them. Or, to aline more to context, a samurai slaying a pesky demon/yokai.

Narwa overpowers Magna quickly, what makes people think Narwa would be eaten or killed by Magnamalo? That would suggest him to be MUCH stronger then Rajang, Deviljho and all other base elder dragons including Nergigante and Velkhana. It would make him on the level of even Shara or Amatsu. He’d be the strongest non elder dragon creature ever.
Could you do Ibusi and Regular Narwa's themes too? No one else includes the intro scene part themes which really add to the full picture.
