@@car-nivores Man they are so much better looking than the frog eyes fixed headlights. I'm always gonna keep the popup headlights but these are killer too. Hey maybe you know if they sell circulat halo rear lights anywhere? I've only seen the ugly oval ones that look like a cheap knockoff of the c6 rear halo lights.
Thank you! They sell the entire back bumper that looks more like a c6 and you can have the circle lights. Also these actually do pop up and down. I just have them up for now.
@@car-nivores hmm not sure that is something I want to do. Maybe some day ill tinker with the tail lights myself and see if it would be possible to put a ring of LED's inside the OEM housing. Like this one www.vette-lights.com/products/2005-2013-c6-corvette-eagle-eye-led-tail-lights-set
I appreciate that but I also don't have the tools lmao. I was also cautious cause a friend of mine wanted to put holes in his car far mods recently and it did not go well...
Nice ride.....I miss my C5 Z06....BTW nice clean job on the hood vents, I'm thinking about installing hood vents on my 69 Nova surfing youtube now...take care man!
Can u send a link to video I keep getting a town when I look for your video I want to change my rear fenders im currently changing my front bumper cover to a c6 bumper the c5 looks like cinderella's shoe really ugly mines black with flames looks like a hot wheel car next I think I my change the hood to carbon fiber the flames on hood im getting tired of any way thanks from California
Unfortunately I never payed attention to my Temps before the installation, but if it means anything, the car is usually sitting around 190 to 200 while driving. You can visually see the heat. Thats not really what hood vents are for on these car. Its more of a performance mod. Less nose lift on acceleration and at high speeds. Its very noticeable
Don't worry they got ahold long time and alot of complaints about them on there web site and how they collect money with out sending packages enjoy your corvette it would only aggravate them I can wait thanks 4 tge response stay healthy
I'm doing a similar set of vents on my 99 track car with a set of vents I got on Ebay. Mine will mount on the riser part of the hood. Those look great.
A little water gets in but nothing serious. Everything under the hood is built to resist water. Just not floods. Yes it's for heat and aerodynamics. It allows the air to escape from under the hood and keep the nose of the car from lifting at speed
Had a fun day installing those with you guys. Glad you had a safe trip home. enjoy the billet emblem!
You the man Brent!!! It was a great experience! We should definitely do it again sometime

You would be the first!
Find a Lumina z34 , they had vents in the hood , removable , and drains to keep water out while letting the air move , check em out .,
Well done brother and I admire when someone admits they're a little apprehensive about projects!
Thank you! Better safe then sorry!!
I agree some installs are irreversible once you get to a certain steps. If you mess up and try to correct it you might end up making it worse.
She just keeps getting cleaner and cleaner man 😍😍😍
Dude, you did the fenders.
You had this.

Your rear fenders to instal them do you have to take off the roof

@@car-nivores new sub. I have a black on black '97 C5 getting ready to install the smoked directionals. Love the content.
Sounds sexy! Thank you!
Have you noticed a difference in engine temperature with the additional ventilation in the engine compartment?

Negative. It's a kbd bumper I got from corvette creations
How much does something like this cost?

I'd pull the trigger real quick if they were carbon fiber. Clean whip man. 👍

Thank you! These can mount there too! I actually want to see someone do it. It would be sick!
Can these be installed on any hood?
I don't see why not.
What are those headlights?
Corvette innovationz sleepy eye leds. I have a older video of me installing them.
What about the water ???
What's up? What about water?
@@car-nivores the water doesn't go through the vents to the engine ? And what the point to put that it's because the heat ?
