@@FE25nit's pretty simple, the number says how many bombs are *directly* around the number. If you click the bomb, you lose.

@@ArunaUtd That's correct but I don't know if that's how they were playing it. There's a 2 in the square about Ali's mine in the Man U/Germany square that can't be right.

At 8:35 it shows that there is a flaw in the board, it says Germany-man utd got 2 mines next to it but man utd-liverpool got only one mine next to it, this is impossible with how the board looks at that point.
Same for Liverpool - Arsenal it has two red cards next to it, there has to be one red card at Germany - Real Madrid, otherwise Germany - Arsenal has only two red cards

Is it jsut be or is the board wrong? In the bottom left the 2 dosnt make sense either the ones in either side and a red card at psg Germany. Unless they’re going by cardinal directions and not traditional minesweeper rules.
