A native American man I met in New Mexico once told me "never whistle at night, and never answer something that calls to you from the night unless it's someone you know" . Solid advice I've always followed. This had to have been terrifying.

Skinwalkers are the spirits of evil men and women who destroyed ancient civilizations in the North American continent. The real location of our first parents, Adam and Eve was nowhere near the Middle East nor anywhere in the eastern hemisphere, they actually lived in North America and the Garden of Eden was located in the heart of the North American continent in the state of Missouri. Skinwalkers are the spirits of those who rebelled against God and their parents Adam and Eve and lived wicked lives prior to the Great Flood. Since the Great Flood, God has commanded several groups of people to leave the Old World(eastern hemisphere) where Noah’s Ark ended up after the Flood and to resettle back in the American continents. Unfortunately, those civilizations were destroyed by other evil men and women and their spirits joined the group of evil antediluvian spirits and they continue to haunt the Americas today. They are in league with Satan and his demonic forces and are able to appear in many ugly and inhuman ways looking like unknown beasts and creatures with voices of deceit and trickery. Satan and his demons possess the power to deceive us and to manipulate our flawed, mortal senses and can appear as inhuman aliens, shape-shifting beasts, balls of light, ufos and other entities.

I’ve done a lot of hiking and camping in my youth. This one time I was sleeping under the stars, laying on my side when I heard like something walking up behind me. Now I’ve heard deer sound like people walking, this was similar but different. It kept getting closer yet I didn’t move. Then it touched my back still I didn’t panic, I slowly rolled back and found myself staring at a raccoon. After all that, heart racing, imagination running wild, and it was just a raccoon. It’s amazing how much certain sounds can make your imagination run wild.

I was outside my house one night burning some wood in a metal barrel and drinking beer. I had the next few days off and said why not. I live in the middle of the deep woods in missouri so wildlife is very abundant. I was just sitting there by the fire with the Remington 870 leaned up against my house drinking beer and hanging out by myself when I heard what sounded like a man charging through my woods. So I gave my 870 a brass check and prepared to give something a 12 gauge slug vibe check when I saw one opossum come sprinting through my drive way and what I presume to be a male maybe a foot behind her. I’m assuming he was trying to get him some and she wasn’t about it but needless to say a brick was almost shit.

I live near Lake Erie in PA. We were camping on the cliff near the stairs that lead down to the beach. There's a patch of woods where you can hear raccoons, birds, frogs. We heard what sounded like cats fighting which is really raccoons. It sounded nasty but suddenly stopped. Next sound coming from the woods was a deep guttural growl. The raccoons started whimpering and all of a sudden it was like a roar. Something was tearing those coons apart. Once it was over it started stalking us. It rammed the fence and sounded like someone tossed a cinder block against the chain link fence. I threw a rock in its direction and it ran off into the woods. No idea what it was.

My husband and I live in the deep woods, completely surrounded by woods on all sides, and we've heard the exact same sound of coyotes howling and screaming from all around our house, some close and some just a little further away. There had to be hundreds of them without a doubt. We've also heard other terrifying sounds that we can't identify like a very deep, throaty grumble, almost a growl, but not like a bear or anything we've ever heard before. The best way we could describe it is when someone puts their open mouth on a microphone and breathes heavily into it. It has happened multiple times at night, and once during the middle of the day. Our dogs were completely terrified and ran to our front door scratching to get in. We fired a shot or two each time, and only once did it continue after we fired and sounded as if it were getting closer to us. Most people try to say it must've been a bear or a big cat, but we've heard those, too, and it's NOTHING like anything we've ever heard. My best advice is to stay locked and loaded and keep your pets inside, even during the day. Stay safe, my friend.

One night I was out walking my dog a mile or two from my neighborhood where there is a big empty field on either side of the road. The street lights were broken, so it was unusually dark. In the past I've seen a lot of wild animals like foxes, skunks, raccoons, opossums, and coyotes that wander around that area. Suddenly, I hear a horrific loud noise that sounded like fleshy parts flapping together, and then I smell this god-awful smell. Never smelled anything as bad as that in my life. I stood there in the darkness thinking what the hell was that? Then it hit me, my pug Winston had gotten into my brothers room and ate the rest of one of his chili burritos, and was flatulating like a monkey's racehorse. Damn, that was the scariest shit I've ever experienced in my life. I'm sure any skinwalkers in the area took one sniff of that and got the hell out of there. I had to extend his leash to the max and make him walk down wind from me, and I just barely made it home safely.

One time I went camping with my father out around the Appalachian mountains because at the time we had lived near them. So we went to the site we were staying at, and set up or stuff. Then we went to a nearby lake to just check it out. It was kind of small with lots of algae in it, I could also see a bunch of fish. We stayed at the lake for a bit, and then I felt an uneasy feeling. I just shrugged it off, like I should have. We then decided to go to a town that was not too far from the site that we were at, because we had a lot of time before having to go to sleep. As we drove down a long narrow road, I saw a bunch of abandoned houses, which also made me feel uneasy, but I again just shrugged it off. We went and got icecream, then my dad saw an outdoors store, and because we needed an extra flashlight, we went in. It was a pretty large store compared to all of the other buildings in the small town. It had canoes, kayaks, camping equipment, and much more. We went and got a flashlight and then just looked around for a bit. We then decided sense we were staying in a kind of ‘in the middle of nowhere’ campground we could ask one of the store employees about the area. So we walked up to one of the employees and asked if he knew anything about the campground we were staying at. He said no and recommended a place near us that had more stuff about the part we were staying in. And because we needed some info on the area, we went over. We walked into the building, and imediatly felt odd. There were taxidermied coyotes that were all deformed, squirrels wearing odd clothes, and many other weird things. We then went to one of the employees and asked him if he knew anything abt the area we were staying. He said yes, and brought us into a room in the back of the building. He then sat us at a table and said that we should’ve went to a different campground, but because we were already booked for a couple nights, it would be fine. Then he looked at us in the eyes, and said “Do you want tips on what to do and not to do? Or just where you should and shouldn’t go”. Me and my dad asked if we could hear both. He then started to say that we should not go out on the water at night, because if you fall off of the boat, you might drown, and no one near you could hear your screams. Then he started to tell us about the coyotes that he had seen the last week. He had said that they were torn apart, with its limbs scattered throughout the area. He said that it could be a bear, but he thinks different. So I asked what he thought it was. He looked at us, with a very serious face and said “A skinwalker. They are like animals, except they aren’t. They are witches that are able to transform. If you look at them, they will haunt you.” He then said to us “Because you are in a dangerous area, I will give you something to defend yourself with” as he said that he went into a back room to get something. He came back with two small knifes. Me and my father looked at the knifes in shock. We still took them. I then asked “Are you being serious?” And he looked at me for a second and nodded. He then said “You cannot whistle at night, it attracts them. Do not say skinwalker at night, it also attracts them. And lastly do not leave your food out, especially meat. They can smell it” Me and my dad looked at him like he was crazy. He then gave us a small pan felt while saying “This has some extra things to do and not to do when in countering a skinwalker.” My dad put it in his pocket. We figured that the guy must have been crazy, but we still listened to him. He then started to tell us the normal things to do and not to do when camping. We said thank you to the man, and on our way out, he said “Good luck.. You’ll need it”
We then headed back to the camp ground, still very uneasy from what the man said. By the time we got back, it was already getting late, so we went in the tent we had put up, and turned on our flashlights. My dad then told me that there is nothing to be worried about. And that Skinwalkers are not real. Then I asked him “Aren’t you not supposed to say it’s name at night?” And he said “Oh yeah, I barely believe in that.” As we drifted off to sleep, we turned off the flashlights. In the midddle of the night I heard footsteps around the tent. I grabbed my knife and woke up my dad. He then got his knife too. Me and him started to hear small cotter sounds, like squirrel noises, and muffled dog noises. Me and my dad believed that it was a pack of coyotes considering the footsteps were circling our tent slowly. After waiting for something to happen for a couple minutes, we heard whistling far off into the woods. The second the whistling started, the footsteps quickly disappeared. My dad volunteered to go out and check what was out there, so he quietly unzipped the tent, with his knife ready for whatever was out there. He walked out of the tent. I I didn’t see him for a couple seconds before he came back inside, zipping the door up behind him. He apparently had left the food out with could’ve attracted the ‘coyotes’. When he said that they were coyotes, I had much doubt, considering the man that gave us the knifes told us not to leave food out or the skinwalkers will get us. After that, I wanted to see for myself, so I went out. I looked in the direction I had heard the whistling from, but all I saw was a very distant light. I quickly came back in, zipping myself in my sleeping bag. When we woke up, we decided to go and find the man that gave us the knifes to tell him what had happened that last night. So we got in our car and started driving. As we were driving I saw a colum of smoke not too far away from where we had stayed. We got to the store and went in. There was a different employee in the building this time. We asked him about the man who had given us the knives, and the store employee told us that his name was frank, and that he had quit yesterday night. This gave me an uneasy feeling, considering that our one guide on these creatures was gone. We decided to try to stay one more night, this time we would hide the food. Most of the day was spent at the lake, swimming around. At one point when I looked across the lake to see if I could find any wildlife, I saw two feet. They looked black and humanoid, yet paw like. I squinted my eyes, and I could still see them. So I blinked, and I squinted again. They were gone. Once we got back to the campground, we hid all of the food in our car. And then we went to sleep. I woke up, again, but this time I had to go to the bathroom. So I woke up my dad, and he said that he needed to go too. We got out of the tent and split up to go to separate trees, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the ‘coyotes’ were back, and were watching me. So I quickly peed and imediatly got back inside of the tent. We slept through the night. When I woke up, I wanted to find paw prints/human prints. So I got up and walked around where I thought I had heard a noise the night before last night. I saw paw prints, which made me think that it was just a coyote. I decided to follow them and see where they lead. Eventually after following them for a while, they slowly morphed into human prints, which still makes me scared. I ran back and got my dad to show him. We came to the footprints, and I tried to fine where they turned into human footprints, but it seemed like they had vanished, which means I couldn’t make him believe in skinwalkers. Once we came back, we had to leave, because we had rented the campground only for a couple days, and that was our last day. In the way back down towards the town, I was scanning the forest for a set of feet, some huge teeth, until I saw something. Out of the passenger side window I saw a paid of eyes connected to a shabby tree. I blinked, and the tree and the eyes were gone. We made it back safely, but the story still scares me

Mr. Vlad, 63 year old Texan here grew up in the woods. It wouldn't matter if 20 coyotes were around you they would not bother you, they might if in dire hunger attack a child. But grown adults, just wouldn't happen. The difference and SC ENT will keep them away from you. They are familiar with camping humans and food refuse, so they might Circle curiously scenting for human food. That is all they would be interested in. With no food sent in the area they would quietly move on. Which brings me to the second point, coyotes are really stealthy and silent. They would not spend time shuffling around in corn stalks. Not in complete darkness they would wait for the Twilight of early morning or early evening to combine their their sense of smell hearing and sight to stir up mice or rats. In the dead of night you would not hear coyotes, not shuffling through corn stalks. Now depending on how close you were to these corn stalks it could be large rats, they would definitely be shuffling around. Of course I wasn't there so you must determine this on your own. Also I would get across to wear around your neck, I am not a religious man I am a spiritual man, big difference but the power of the Cross is guaranteed LOL I'll wait another video. I checked out your other channel but I'm just not into video games. You seem like a good man. If indeed this does escalate do not allow your young children out at night!! Portals for some reason are opening at this time worldwide, not to mention UFOs circling the earth like flocks of birds the Sasquatch of the woods are making contact with thousands of humans at this time. I know this sounds strange but true, I am Cherokee and Creek mixed-blood. With an open mind and spiritual awareness with the Earth Mother, these are all connected beyond our government suppressed understanding. Be careful

When I’m in there I usually have the big doors open, if I hear something outside when I’m in their I’m scared sh-less to look up at that open area. I hear coyotes all the time but, a couple of years ago I heard something that sounded like a woman being tortured, right across my fence line in some trees. My dogs were even scared, I couldn’t breathe I was so scared, and I had a pocket cannon. I ran not walked home, shop open lights on, doors open. I’ve heard it one other time in the same area. I don’t know what that was and if I never hear it again, that good with me.

There are also animals in North America not yet recognized by “science” but certainly exist. All I’m saying is do your diligence eliminating the most likely cause first before jumping to conclusions just because you might not recognize a sound. Skinwalkers most likely exist in some form/fashion weather or not the legends are 100% accurate. Skin walker Ranch is a prime example. The place is pretty with tall mountains on either side of the creek and we’d sometimes build a fire and play the car radio . This night we sat on the hood talking and drinking beer the crickets and frogs were singing and we were having a good time. Suddenly everything fell silent. Totally silent and I got a horrible feeling of something staring at us from up the mountain. I heard a heavy thud like a footstep and I said. “Guys, we need to get in the car and get out of here NOW! We piled in the car in a panic and peeled out of there fast. I grew up in the woods and never had that feeling of something bad about to get me before. To top it off, when we got home , my friends dog got in the car howling and wouldn’t get out. He sensed out fear I guess. I don’t know what or who was up there but I have a hunch it was dangerous

This video gave me some serious flashbacks of what I experienced on 2 separate occasions in the same deer stand at 8, then 16 years old. My family and a few old friends are the only people who know about these incidents. I’ve held it tight to my chest for 19 years in fear that I would be labeled as crazy. But I am not crazy…
In 1994 my grandparents lived on a 450 acre tree farm located off a private and secluded dirt road in the backwoods of Alabama. The nearest town was almost 15 miles away and at the time had a population of just around 150. My grandad (Buck) was a WWII veteran and introduced me to hunting at a very young age. Before I was old enough to hunt alone, Buck and I would sit together in one of our 9 shooting houses positioned throughout the property. We were deer hunting one evening when I was 8 in our stand located furthest from the house. It was mid December and other than a small area we had cleared for peas, the surroundings were thick with mature pines and underbrush. It was around 4:45 P.M. and visibility was getting low when an ear splitting shriek came from behind us. It sounded 1000 yards away but at the same time sounded very, very close. It’s impossible to explain in words let alone in writing. I looked at my grandad wide eyed asking what kind of animal it was and he calmly replied, “That’s the “Haint” I’ve told you and your brothers about.” … Buck was an amazing story teller and it used to piss my grandmother off something awful when he would scare the shit out of me and my brothers with his tales of demons in human form who would stalk the woods at night, looking for people to eat. He always referred to these cannibal night stalkers as “Haints”. Little did I know, he wasn’t *ucking around… He shushed me and whispered in a very uncharacteristic & serious tone, “It's time to go”. When we got back I told my grandmother and my parents what happened but of course, they shrugged it off. I was plagued by nightmares for months after, however, they steadily subsided and normal life continued. I was completely and totally unaware that 8 years later I would meet the owner of that hellish scream…
Fast forward to 2002. I’m 16 yrs old, hunting alone, same stand, same surroundings and it’s starting to get dark. I hadn’t visited that particular stand by myself since the incident 8 yrs prior but that night I told myself to quit being a *ussy and just do it. I watched a few Does come in and out feeding on peas pretty steady for 3 hrs, waiting on a Buck🦌. I was preoccupied watching deer and had not thought about my haunting experience a single time. My tranquility shifted violently to terror at dusk… With visibility beginning to get low I was watching a doe and her fawn feed when she snapped her head to attention, looking into the woods directly in front of me. I flipped the safety on my .308 beginning to get excited and strained my ears for what was coming. She stood at attention, frozen solid for nearly 2 minutes before flicking her tail and absolutely HAULING ASS towards my stand, under it, then tramping through the woods with her baby in hot pursuit. I found it odd as I had not done anything to spook them and deer do not usually react this way when a buck is approaching. I sat puzzled for a minute when I heard leaves crunching about 100 yards away, directly in front of me. I steadied my rifle, adjusted the scope and looked. I could see a figure in the distance pacing back and forth at about 10 ft intervals. My insides plummeted to 0 when I realized it was a man. He was shirtless with his neck craned towards my stand, watching me as he stalked back and forth. There was something so unsettling about his rigid body posture and smooth bald head as he walked that it caused a chill to race up my spine. It was hard to make out the rest of his features in the dying light but it looked as if he were grinning. When I took my eye off the scope and squinted my eyes over the rifle he stopped pacing and simply stood there, facing me, completely still. I cradled my rifle in my left arm and waved my right hand back and forth in the air and yelled at the top of my voice, "HEEEYYY!!!!!". I received another full body chill as I watched him slowly raise his hand in return, mimicking my wave. My adrenaline spiked as I lowered my hand and watched him do the same. I had my rifle in a death grip as I yelled again, this time saying, “Get the hell out of here!” at the top of my lungs. He simply stared, head tilted slightly forward, arms at his sides, still frozen in place. I was on the edge of panic at this point and again screamed, “HEEEEYYYY!!!!!” This time putting the barrel of my gun against the floor, stock between my legs and waving both hands in the air over my head in a SOS gesture. I was mimicked again. If you have ever seen the movie 1408 it was eerily similar to the scene where Mike Enslin sees his reflection in the window from the building across the street... I was on the verge of tears as I raised my rifle and watched his hands return to his sides. I aimed the crosshairs at the center of his chest, desperately trying to control my breathing and screamed, “This is private property I’ll fucking shoot!!” His response will haunt me until the day I die. He let out the same ear splitting shriek I had heard 8 years prior and although I was struggling to see, I raised my crosshairs to his face to see that his eyes were bulging inhumanly. The scream seemed to go on forever. I wanted to slap my hands over my ears but somehow I stayed focused. I took in a deep shuttering breathe and steadied my aim at center mass. I have no idea how long that scream lasted but immediately after it stopped, he turned and exploded into a sprint away from my stand screaming in rapid succession, “AHHH, AHHHH, AHHHHH, AHHHHH”. I was utterly petrified, wide eyed, listening to his howls slowly but surely getting further… further…… further……… away. I knew full well I had to get the hell out of that stand and home before night hit. I knew my mind would go absolutely bullshit with fear if I wasn’t out of there before the sun left the horizon. My 4 wheeler was parked about 500 yards away on the road so I mustered my courage, slung my rifle over my back, climbed down, pulled a Beretta 92 off my hip and took off in a dead sprint. I reached the 4 wheeler without incident, holstered my pistol, cranked it and gassed it to 50 in a matter of seconds kicking dust. Didn’t realize till I got home that I had actually pissed myself. I told my grandad about it and a year later they sold their house/land when he retired. Never again went hunting in those woods. My rational mind tells me it was a meth head *ucking with me but to this day I have never heard a sound equivalent to what came out of that *uckers mouth. Either way, I will never go near that place again for as long as I live

The craziest part is that mooses do not exist where i live and i felt like i was being watched and it was very loud like it was right on the window, when i turned to record it, it just vanished and the feeling of being watched went away. Similar to yours, one specific incident that has caused me not to head into the woods alone at night any longer. I used to have no fear of the dark, but now I find myself looking behind me more often than I look forward if I travel alone in the dark. Be careful, be safe, that bear spray will not protect you. Weird tip for if you’re in a dangerous situation with a wild animal: many wild animals will scare off pretty easily if you throw any object at them, except apes and monkeys I guess, because any animal that can’t pick up objects can’t throw objects/manipulate their environment in that way, so it’ll probably be the first time they’ve ever seen any creature launch anything at them and hopefully they’ll be terrified and their flight response will be activated because they won’t know how to use their fight response.

This is one of the most entertaining videos I’ve seen in a long time. I like it so much because I’ve been there. I’m 52 years old now, and this happened around 1994 or 1995, back in my mid 20s when I was “ten feet tall and bullet proof” as the saying goes. I was bow hunting whitetail deer in southern Louisiana, way, WAY back DEEP in the middle of the Atchafalaya (it’s pronounced a-chaff-a-LIE-a) Basin swamp. It’s where the show “Swamp People” is filmed (huge fan. CHOOT ‘EM!! Lol) and it’s the largest river basin swamp in the United States. So I’m up a cypress tree at dusk. There’s LOTS of big deer tracks in the area, scrapes, rubs on the small tree saplings, all the good signs. This spot was HOT with whitetail deer activity. So with the sun setting behind me, I hear a noise like I’ve never heard before. Grunting, hissing, growling (similar to your critter at the end), running in circles, and there seemed to be two of them. So I’m thinking it’s probably two big bucks with antlers locked in battle. But I didn’t see anything, then it got ABSOLUTELY quiet. I mean SILENT. The sun is setting behind me and out maybe 75 yards ahead I see this long, tan/gray animal the same size and shape as a deer, broadside to me and even though it was particularly obscured by tree branches, it showed bright with the last rays of light from the sunset behind me. But here’s the thing, it was at eye level out there in front of me, and I was about 15 feet off the ground. It was in the top of an old dead cypress tree which had probably fallen years ago and was leaning against another one. The animal was there maybe two seconds, then ran down the trunk and disappeared into the gray and dark colors on the ground. So the whole time my heart was pounding, an arrow ready on my bow string. But then the thought hit me, deer cannot climb trees. So putting two and two together with the noise, the fact that it was up a tree, the size, the color, it was no deer. It was a COUGAR. Between me and my boat, which was WAY out there at the water’s edge. I’d planned to stay until full dark, but NOPE! The deer, the cougars, the ‘skeeters, the hoot owls, the gators and the cottonmouths could HAVE IT that night. I was in THEIR world, not mine. By the time I got down out of the tree, packed up my climbing stand and started walking out, it was full dark. I had my bow, seven arrows, a knife, and a small headlight on my camo hat. That night I learned what it’s like to feel HUNTED instead of the hunter. I realized I was alone, in the middle of the largest swamp in America, with a large, dangerous predator between me and my boat. I sure was grateful to finally reach my small boat, flip on the lights, crank it up and get the hell out of there. That was one LONG, SPOOKY walk out of the swamp that night. Later after I got home I called my dad to tell him about it. I said it scared the HELL out of me, to which he said something like “Yeah, I’m sure it was scary, and definitely a dangerous situation. But think of it this way, of how much of a PRIVILEGE it was so see such a beautiful elusive animal like that out in the wild.” Dad was right. Considering the encounter from that perspective, it really was a pretty cool experience. Not one that I want to REPEAT, lol, but nevertheless a cool experience. Can’t wait to see part two!!

Strange things happen in the woods man. I've had weird stuff happen to me. When out hunting at dusk I heard footsteps from a dog come up to my ground blind. I assumed it was a Coyote bc I heard sniffing right outside the blind but as soon as I released the safety of my crossbow and started to turn that animal started to growl. It was a crazy deep growl that was like a Lion or large cat. It was just really deep and powerful. I was filled with fear and I started to pray. As soon as I called on Jesus the growling stopped and I heard footsteps walking away. I looked out the mesh of the ground blind to see what it was but all I saw was leaves moving on the forest floor. I could see it's footsteps but not the creature. It was on 4 legs and walked away quickly. There was no wind and the sound of footfalls matched the leaves being disturbed. I waited about 5 minutes and dark was coming on quick but my truck was only about 100 yards away. I slowly unzipped the blind and ran AS FAST AS I COULD to my truck. As soon as I slammed the door shut I locked the door, thanked God and sped out of that area as fast as I could safely. I have not been hunting since. This was about 10 years ago in Ohio. Strange things are out there folks, be safe.

As an indigenous person especially from the southwest I can tell you that is not what a walker is. And thank goodness for that! It's a good thing.. You do have definite Paranormal Activity and it is most definitely related to the land and what took place there. It is bound to the land. I would cleanse the whole property and put out offerings for the animals and to balance your property much is negative and hidden you also have death obviously there's death everywhere but you have death that wasn't naturally occurring. so that's a stain on the land as well. And you can believe me or not but knowing our Traditions knowing these things I guarantee you if you start making offerings of sacred herbs Sage Cedar tobacco to the land and balance out that energy a lot of it's going to calm down. You will still hear and sense things but it won't be as intense sorry you have to excuse me for talk-to-text but you won't feel like prey. You can even see the animals are cautious there's a reason for that You have to remember our ancestors and the energy of the land watches its inhabitants there are protectors Watchers of the Woods that's where all those Legends come from so just balance it out there's nothing to be worried about but don't lend your energy to it either because it will heighten you being in fear you being in extreme anxiety and terror is literally gold and fuel for what you don't want. So it is your choice whether you want to listen to me or not but I would research Your Land talk to the tribes in your literal area they probably know more about the history of your property than anyone even what's not documented I have a feeling you're going to find out some information and if you come to them openly and honestly and tell them you want to balance the energy of the land and live in harmony and peace with your children. I'm sure they would even almost be willing to come out and do ceremony if not tell you how to properly do it in the way they identify♡ I know this comment is way late but it's kind of important for people to know and I would like other people to see it through your page as well who may be dealing with these things Don't Be Afraid just know and respect what's going on♡ there is something about the '60s and seventies and then we're talking about a couple hundred years before and then before that just dig a little bit I'm sure you'll find some things and I wish health and happiness protection and peace to you and your family💯❤ I know I'm very late commenting on this but I want you to be aware and I want other people and other families who have big Parcels of land that span the centuries especially in this sacred time of transition where everything is brought to the surface to be healed and transformed as we go forward. Be empowered and confident that you and your family can help shift the narrative and live your best life and heal an uplift each other and the space and energy every day from what has come long before♡ Sorry for the book 🙏but it's important now more than ever .

The first time I heard the word, Skinwalker, was from Ghost Adventures's episode about the Skinwalker Ranch. Out of curiosity, I asked one of my best friends, a Native American. She comes from both the Sioux and Navajo tribes. She's not as traditional as other Native Americans , who live in Reservations, but she definitely knows about her tribes' cultures and tales that were passed down from generation to the next.
When I asked her to tell me about her ancestors' oral tales about Skinwalkers, she was surprised. She was reluctant to talk about it. She wouldn't even say the word Skinwalker, but would only describe how it would manifest. I sensed a foreboding fear that surrounds the Skinwalker phenomena. That was the last time I ever brought up the topic with her, out of respect for her and her culture.

      @tazBeaWheelz 2 роки тому +21

Yes that's right alot of the Navajo tribes will not even go near skinwalker ranch or any parts of land that they are known to be on, according to legends, which really makes you wonder coz as much s these were stories from ancestors etc, there's been too many sightings of them. Skinwalker ranch employees will not really speak of what's on that property neither 🤔 even though they did do that documentary about a few things that had happened they were still cautious, th bit with the compasses going all off in haywire too that to me is a red flag of some kind of danger that we don't understand and things just do not a up about it all, so the mystery goes on.

All I saw was a cobweb illuminated by the security camera, owls, and packs of coyotes talking to each other. Out by the field, just regular night sounds. Being out in the pitch dark feels incredibly oppressive if you're not used to it. It's so dark it feels like it's sucking the life out of you. It is easy for your imagination to run wild and because you can't see your other senses become amplified. It is terrifying and thrilling all at the same time. We have evolved to be creatures of the day. It's our natural instinct to be wary of the dark - because that's when the biggest predators come out to hunt. BTW it's 9:30pm at my house and I'm writing this and hearing a bunch of coyotes and owls outside.

They told me to never whistle while your out in nature because it will invite them to you and attach to you. They will mimic someone close to you to bring you to them. They thrive on fear and flesh. One way to keep them at bay is holy symbols or artifacts. They even told me to keep a silver coin in my pocket if I choose to go into the woods to ward off these entities. These are my favorite cryptids and this is why I like listening to the stories and lure about them. We could here these creatures coming up along both sides just off the road in the darkness. They were close but we couldn't see them. We went from walking to jogging which triggered them to start keeping pace. They were starting to crash through the brush and they doubled to like 8 or10. After about a mile or two I said fuk it and slowed down then stopped, pull my nine out shot through the woods twice. They were coyotes. They scattered and ran away but it still rattled me just because how soon they found us when we left the truck. Thanks for reading.

I grew up in a cabin in the woods, the land surrounding my home was owned by the state as a wildlife preserve. I have several scary stories from that time as the woods around the house where very haunted or something was living in them. Two of them stick out to me from hearing your story.
The first is a story of the time I snuck out with two friends to try and hold a bonfire in the back yard. We managed to make it out the backdoor and into the side woods headed towards a clearing I had gone towards many time in the day time but this time although it was pitch black I wasn't afraid until I hit the tree line. This time even with my two friends behind me I felt appressed and like something was watching me. At night the forest around my house was usually brimming with activity, bugs, crickets the forest was usually in a racket but it was almost the first night I didn't hear anything and I knew something wasn't right. I didn't hear any crickets, bugs, owls or anything it was pitch black and there was no sound except the sound of our feet. we stopped to listen and heard a crunch behind us so we ran back to my house. It is when the forest is quiet that somethings wrong.
The second story I hadn't left my house. I was gaming alone in my computer room and my parents where in the living room when it happened. I was sitting there minding my own business when not just me but my whole family completely on the other side of the house heard a horrific scream. It was like nothing any of us had every heard from the forest and I was in college at the time having grown up in the house. It was so loud I thought the house shook. I could also tell it was right outside the window without blinds on the first floor where I was gaming. I ran into the living room sprinted for my life and asked my parents if they had heard that because I didn't believe what I had heard. They told me they had and they had never heard anything like it either. The months after I obsessed with it. I listened to audio recordings of every animal, foxes, coyote racoons and cats fighting, everything. Nothing has even been close.
Two important things to know about living out in the country. When you can't hear animals or crickets at night don't go out. Potty training a puppy be damned. Secondly do not go investigating strange noises no matter how much you want to. Invest in good blinds and curtains to keep what's outside from looking at you.
Even if the paranormal isn't real and there is a good explanation for everything - who knows maybe a lion or bob cat escaped my local zoo though it didn't sound like that either- it's better to be safe than sorry.

It was 86 and I am living just outside the town centre of Coventry in a two up two down . On my way home from the pub , it was a unusually warm night and I have to walk through a red light airier so I made sure what I was carrying was deeply away due to police stop and search. There was a entry just in front ( entry just wide enough for a wheelybin with access to rear gardens at the back of a street , in day light looks like a corridor of doors stretching into the distance ) when I heard a ungodly scream it stopped me dead , I am no stranger to all kinds of screams , and I am at home in the wild as in the City . The scream came from just inside The unlit entry so I dug deep and took the safety off expecting a dead or injured woman because of the pitch of the scream , but I had never heard a scream like this . I stepped into the entry nothing in front , when the scream sounded again but this time a street away from behind me . I was about five minutes from my front door , got my door Putting key in the lock and directly behind me bang the scream was there , I could feel the scream in ever organ inside my body. I turned shook and shaken , nothing then I head it about fifty yards away and again and again about a quarter of a mile away then a mile , you could hear the scream moving for miles at far greater speed than was possible even in a Vehicle. The next day a family friend was sitting there when I came in who lives five miles away, she retold me what she had been telling my partner about this scream at the window that moved to every window one at a time at the same time this happened to me . She lived on the eighth floor and she was sure she heard a Banshee.

Me too and I never see anyone else say'n that! I heard a loud "big cat" scream but it rattled my big window in living room. Funny thing: my hubby & son heard it 2 dif nights & I made fun of them!! This time it was CLOSE though (unlike their 2 even crazier stories). I don't know any cat that could be this loud AND I live in Indiana... there are ZERO cougars, mountain lions, etc. And I've heard their calls before... this was 5× the volume.
It "played" with my husband one night, sometimes acting Luke a cat, sometimes a monkey? That could go sideways up trees too, yet slither FASTER than anything. Personally I would not have been chasing it.. but he was gonna shoot it.. he said it was so fast,up, down there was no way to ever get your sights on it (& he's no amateur).
We had a total of 4 incidents in 2 yrs... me mocking the story the whole time!! Until it did that outside my window, that typically never rattles... I felt the vibration in my feet and I was next room over in the kitchen!! Scared the ba'geezus out of me... and I believed em after that.
The rest of the story is crazy too, today we laugh, 5 yrs. Ago it wasn't so funny!
But it was like after it caught me up late at night (me the mocker) and made me a believer 😌 scaring me... it LEFT!!

Actually a correlation with your story though. In the back fields behind my house there was the bones of a small village. The houses just had the outlines left in the dirt but it looked like it had been a small town at one point though I never found any information on it online. It's very possible there are graves back there for the small town of people that once lived there. It was about a mile or maybe two into the woods to get to it. We had some odd shenanigans in the house like hearing our names being called by people that where definitely not home mostly from the basement or if we were on ground level upstairs. Which would lean me more towards skinwalker or some really angry ghosts but neither legend lines up completely.

    Some advice:
    1. Walk without fear. These things generally aren't capable of physically hurting us; I'd take those stories with a grain of salt. Fear is what they feed on, so don't give it to them.
    2. If you ever hear disembodied voices in the woods at night, just ignore them... even if it just sounds like two people having a casual conversation. If you're not sure, keep it that way.
    3. If you see something staring at you off in the distance and can see it unusually well given the lighting and distance (especially if it looks pale and humanoid), either go back inside or scare it off. I wouldn't recommend charging towards it but you probably could. Again, these things feed off fear. If you give them the opposite of that they'll start to leave you alone.
    4. I'm not even religious, but I was raised by a Christian mother who grew up in Trinidad and experienced a lot of... weird things. One thing she always told me to do when I feel an evil presence is to speak the words "in Jesus almighty name" and you'll be good. It actually works surprisingly well.
When you were in the woods there and felt that overwhelming sense of fear, that would have been the time to say it. I'm not sure about this one (could just make me feel better), but I believe there's real power in those words. Any time I've felt that overwhelming sense of fear myself I've recited that phrase (even during sleep paralysis) and it seems to work every time.

That looks like a newer neighborhood development, so if a murder is around that area, and learned the new animals leave food around they would certainly be interested in watching yall... just one opinion.. not saying it is or isn't anything bc I wasn't there.. @Natdl yeah he's a big scaredy cat. It's all nonsense. Plus I've heard a nightbird that makes those yip yip noises which would explain it moving quickly or if there were two calling out. This is all nonsense and the bar of lights picked up on the camera just looked like a reflection to me.

I’m 48 years old, I’m still afraid of the dark. At least two lights are on in my house of a night time, all night. I can only sleep in the dark because my husband is next to me. I’m not sure what happened to me when I was little, but something gave me a deathly fear of darkness. And no…I definitely wasn’t abused by family or anything like that. Something scary happened to me, and I can’t quite remember it.

I'm in my 40s and keep multiple lights on. I used to need it to be black to sleep. three things changed for me. One, I became physically disabled and need to not have to take action in dark. Two, I got into watching and reading horror. Three, I use a CPAP and in order for the mask to fit properly and not cause eye trauma, I have to wear an eye mask underneath. So it already seems black to me when I go to bed, but at least when I tear of the eyemask it's already light onstead of requiring further actions I may no be able to do fast or at all . So for me, pulling off the eye mask = turning on the light.

You tend to forget about things if they're so bad you can't handle them, if you dig deep into your subconscious one at a time you can piece together what happened one by one, but you can't try to do this all at once or you might just lose your mind, this can take months to a few years to remember the full story
