"My arm[s] is getting tired" "Holy crap- WE'RE GETTING TOO HIGH!" Having the power to defeat a planet eating abomination and then falling to death because you held onto a bundle of balloons too long.
I always preferred this ending. I felt it closed up all loose ends the best... and... I always smile and blush at how romantic it really is. It was also the first ending I saw for a while, as back when I had it on the SNES I sucked at these sorts of games enough that I could only finish it if I skipped the first part of the boss.
I always considered this one to be the true, ultimate ending. Everything is complete, all stories and quests are tied up. Only difference is I prefer not to have Magus join the team.
Right before fighting Lavos, destroy the Epoch by crashing it into Lavos. You can get the ending like that otherwise you would get the usual version (#1 of the collection) with them flying on Epoch if I remember right.
Naturally a game prominently dealing with time would have multiple endings. Many games have have one at most besides the game over scene or something else.
I've played this game all the way through probably 15 times and I still have no clue how to get the different endings. I would get this one more often than the others with the spaceship one second.
In the story something ppl tell you hints about the endings Like the 1st ending where the mom school you about not feeding the cat Welp next playthrough I did feed the cat

This is the really REAL ending.
This ending is stoopid and Hella cheezy. And my all time favorite ending. In anything!!!

That's true ending according with Chrono Cross. Plus Lucca finding Kid.
First beat the game and got this ending and personally I think that's the true ending right there!
Cameron Vidos Agree, but Epoch variant is also pretty good too

The pinnacle of the 16-bit era.
