New printer alert! Creality Hi printing a bowl, let's watch! Exciting new release from

- The Hi has been around the office and studio quite a lot recently. I'm genuinely excited to see this printer work - so I made a video of the one in the office printing a bowl. The bed size is deceptively large. The footprint of the printer does not feel larger than the Ender 3 V3 series but the build volume is quite a lot larger. 260x260x300mm.
Marketing it for it's super-easy assembly and the flexibility to use the CFS system released last year with the #k2plus this printer should check a lot of boxes for hobbyists and first time 3d printer owners.

I think I am getting this one for my first printer. Its either this or Sv06ace.
this is targeted as "first printer" material! Super easy to set up.
i am seriously considering moving away from bambolab a1 mini and are very interested in this but do anyone have an idea what the price point will be and can it take a 0.2mm nozzle?
i don't know if they have made the .2 nozzle yet but normally they do. The price is $399 USD for the printer or $469 for the combo. Hoping for late February release.
@@kevin.at.Creality normally they do? i have yet to see any creality printers with 0.2mm nozzle. i have the k1 max and the lowest i can get is 0.4 sadly that makes it useless to me as i need the 0.2 detail
looks so good! I think this will for sure be such a good intro into 3D printing for people! and the beep is cute too!
thanks, I think the same. I'm not new to printing and I like it too lol
im odering this printer as soon its available in Canada. My Kobra 3 is up for sale lol
hey i didn't know you were in Canada - you emailed me right? Where are you at? I'm from Alberta!
@@kevin.at.Creality yes im from canada, Montreal. yes i did email you with 2 difference email to mke sure it work. did you get me email. one is a gmail and other is etrtransport email
@@kevin.at.Crealityjust resend you a email to make sure you got it. Thanks again
@@kevin.at.Crealitymy comment keep getting deleted, and i don’t know why. Yes email is send. I live in Montreal, bit have a couple of friends that live in Alberta
@@kevin.at.CrealityKevin never received a email from you. Maybe its in your junks. Did you receive any of my email ?
Hello.
With or without CFS, I think it's really perfect for beginners or as a second or third printer ;)
The print bed is a good size. Being able to print in multiple colors in this price range is great. The display is beautiful. I think with the ~48 dB you can also use it in the apartment, so not everything is too loud for the little one ;)
The print result looked good when you printed it. The orange is cool.
IRS refunds coming in and people are hot to buy a first time 3D printer. What's the release date looking like?
Any indication of speed of print vs 3v3? Benchy times etc
Making me second guess my Kobra 3 combo😅
I just looked at that printer and it looks nice too. 8 colors is going to be enough for most people anyway...if you need 16 then the Hi is a better choice i guess. Four is enough for me.
i like it just uses a single ptfe tube
your comment made me go look at the Kobra. I didn't see that before - four PTFE tubes. I guess the filament does not need to retract as far. Interesting anyway. I love that there is more than one way to do this.
Do you know when this will happen to release? Im looking to pick one up or possibly get a marketing opportunity to review on my channel.
Looks good Kevin, looking forward to the return of the weekly stream, hope you had a good holiday
Thanks! Yeah time to get back to work!
Hey Kevin, Nice video. Looks like you using cardboard spools, no RFID Tags ?
i actually didn't load this machine, we have been printing on it non-stop since it came to our department. lol
Cardboard spools are no problem and no RFID means you simply choose the color and filament type on the screen. Takes about 5 seconds.
Kevin, would you make a short on where the heck the x axis stepper motor is???
Hey buddy. If you pause the print at :49 you will see a plastic box on the back of the linear rail. It says on that box - remove cover of x-axis motor. So the power runs to that box and the motor is inside.
Goood! Availability in UE?
Should be end of February!
Hallo machen Sie auch ein Video wie Sie das Creality K1 CFS umbaukit im Creality Print einbinden/hinzufügen und damit dann arbeiten damit man sieht wie es funktioniert ????
gute Idee. Ich werde es tun, sobald ich kann.
I'm very excited about this little machine!
When will be seeing some more actual reviews and prints from the other 3D guys?
We know they all have them already, but when can they all break the silence on this!
I already have on on pre-order from my local store (I'm in South Africa), but they only expecting them end of Feb...
I really want to see if this is going to be another littler workhorse like my current CR-6SE.
Can't wait! 🙏👍
I think everyone is allowed to review after Feb 14th - so you will see lots of content before you get yours.
@kevin.at.Creality Awesome! Gives them all plenty time to play... Thanks again mate. 👍🙏

my wife made my thumbnail - i like it!
I thought this machine was on an Embargo until the 14th of February 🤷♂
This is not a machine they sent me, this is at Creality (you can see the writing on the wall there).
As long as it proves to be more reliable than kobra 3, less ptfe tubes to cause problems.
I was just looking at the Kobra - is it not reliable? I'm hoping all the companies are improving so that we keep pushing ourselves to be better.
basically a copycat of the Kobra 3, if creality did better than anycubic in the Quality Checks and engineering then its a good printer, only time will tell tbh
Hi Kevin, last week I have send you an email. Could you please have a look at it? Thanks
Today is our first day back to work - I will check my emails right now!
This company finally got it right with the newer K1Max. WTH would they bother making another bedslinger?! Just no never not again!
really? I guess thats why they make different printers - I have two enclosed K series printers but I really like this one. I am on the HI bandwagon! Likely you are right, if you have a K1Max or K2 Plus you won't need this machine. But it's much cheaper than the Max.
can you explain why creality has so many printers? why selling multiple ender and cr models and now another machine? wouldn't it be smarter to focus on the horrible creality software and firmware we see? no one needs a selection of 20 printers, it's confusing and prices are all similar. k2 for example, such broken firmware and slicer and now a new printer. great. but no update for k2 in over a month.
More things to choose from, thats good, and whats wrong with the firmware? Never had any problems with my v3se
I have a V3SE too. That little printer just goes and goes. Love it.
Agreed 👍
I don't have any problems with the firmware. The software is good, but I have issues with it loosing custom presets after an update a couple of times, so I use Orca now. But the printer just works.
This isn’t a review video and Kevin is from Creality so…
valid argument nick ;)
$$$
$399 for the printer - $469 for the combo (USD)
This video is a little bit disappointing because the main feature of this machine the multicolor print is not showing for us! So what is the purpose here?
there will be plenty of reviews coming soon. I wanted to show the print quality and/or just show people who are new to 3d printing what to expect if they buy a new printer.
another bambu clone, nothing new.
open source reputation from a company building printers for eleven years - that's two differences I can think of off the top of my head. Step-servo motors, 16 color printing, same multi-material system as the other printers, bigger build volume...
Not sure if this counts as a clone.
Sounds like a hater. I'm totally good with Creality. I just wish Creality was as good with me so I could receive new things to test and review.
@ some people at Creality are fans of Blaze!! ☺
With the fk up of bambu this might be a good choice
