I'm so glad you guys are back and that you're still focused on what I (we) always loved about your channel; working on hotrods. I know your hiatus was likely part of the reason, but I hate it when some of my favorite channels outgrow their own content and they end up becoming something different altogether. Change and growth is good and necessary, but I'm glad there are still a few that haven't left the content that ultimately built their channel behind.
As much as it sucks. It makes me feel a little better about the struggles I've ran into with my turbo gen v truck. Keep at it.

Why can’t u use a p59 or a different GM computer easier to tune on
Serious question here. Why do such short pulls? Say 6000 is red line, why only do a pull from 4000? I kind of get it because when I do a pull in my car it's usually from 3 or 4k but I also rev to 7k, and I'm actually on the road not a dyno. But I've wonder this for a long time. Hell Cleetus was still there! But why not start the pull from basically idle to red line to get a look at the full rpm range.
The same reason you don't run it that way on the road. too much load with not enough power. That's why there are engine dynos. But even they don't get the very bottom rpm range.

Because he is tuning the vehicle. You have to figure out the timing and fuel as you go.
What if the engine wasn’t getting enough fuel and it had a lot of timing in it while going straight to 6,000 rpm? Kaboom is what.
You have to get the AFR right at lower RPM and then move up in RPM as you go and so on.
@@Dipndots87-ms6ds you are somewhat correct as you have to start at the lower rpms. But while tuning my own vehicles it makes more sense to me to get the whole picture from idle to red line. But I'm not just chasing a dyno figure. I've tuned a few vehicles and never once used a dyno. So I'm sure off camera he did more than 1 full pull and possibly even multiple gears, seeing as how load and fuel change depending on what gear you're in... So again, it doesn't make sense to me to show only a 2K rpm pull... Unless it's just to show peak power, which doesn't mean all that much honestly!
