All of this is nothing compared to finally finding a 3 star animal after searching for hours, only to slightly miss your shot while chasing it down or accidentally using the wrong ammo and ruining the pelt. THAT is the biggest pain in this game.
Why would you need to get a 3 star pelt animal
Are you going to get the legend of the east satchel because it's not that hard
And the trapper outfits has a glitch where you can get it for free
And doing the camp upgrades is pointless because nothing changes
All of that is nothing compared to the gambler challenges and accidentally dying going into new Austin as arthur

@@Alrgeric4730 Because a) upgrading the camp adds up to the vibe and b) my first thought when playing any game is "how do I do what the game expects me to do" and not "how do I glitch past what the game expects me to do".
I once killed my horse for ruining a 5 star animal cuz it ran it over cuz it got scared
The love/hate relationship I have with my fake horse is deeper than any other relationship I have in my life.
He throws me into alligators and cougars and I set him on fire whenever he does an automatic jump just because there was a pebble on our way down from a mountain.

Bro my horse LITERALLY trips on said pebbles and always somehow manages do a frontflip as I fly into a body of water or off a cliff... THE AGONY!

You only get bitten once with horse reviver. Then you always know, before you go out on a voyage, that's one of the first things you stock up on.
I just keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results. Wasn't that the definition of something? Meh, probably nothing important.

any outfit, even custom ones can be saved to your horse, this keeps you from needing to bathe to clean your clothes. you can wash your face at camp and not need to pay for baths @@Wanqer

I remember doing a mission with Sadie in the Epilogue and we were catching Nathan Kirk. Chased him out of Strawberry, eventually caught up to him and threw my lasso. Got down off my horse, and started walking towards Nathan and he gets up and runs off. Turns out I've lassoed his damn horse instead of him. "Mission failed: You let Nathan get away".

I'm not sure why but Arthur getting thrown from his horse cracks me up no matter how many times I see it.
Skyrim and RDR2 it would seem are the only games whose campaigns are still relevant and entertaining years later.

The worst pain I felt was getting wanted in Tumbleweed, Sheriff Freeman is coded to be able to instantly kill anything he shoots, and instead of shooting me. He intentionally shot my horse and killed it. Naturally I unloaded all 5 of my shots into him.
My personal biggest pain in this game is you can’t have a mule or donkey as a mount like you can in RDR1. They weren’t great by any means but I loved them and they were a nice change compared to a regular horse
For me personally I miss skinning horses in rdr1 and the funny things John says when skinning.

Weird thing but my biggest thing is that so much in the game feels historically accurate, but the railroad stuff is so baffling. The trains are like 30 years out of date, and thus are even worse by the epilogue.
As NakeyJakey says, "the game wasn't ready for me to be here yet, I wasn't supposed to be here yet, I wasn't doing it according to Rockstar's plan"

That donkey scene reminds me of a hat the O'driscoll gang sometimes wore, one specific hat that I thought looked really good with my low honor Arthur. Found it once but died and it despawned. Kept my eye out for another all game, finally after wondering if it was even real I found one in chapter 4 and looked fly as hell. Hightail it back to base only to find out it's not saving with my outfit or in my stolen hats.
Rockstar just refused to let me have it and none of the other hats really do the trick. Just why

The second video happened to me in early chapter 2 while going for money glitch and the stable wasn't available yet and I had to kill many npcs for horse reviver and saved my horse 😂

What about finding out you couldn’t sell legendary beaver at butcher trying to get on to your Arabian horse accidentally robbing someone standing next your horse then finally getting on to your horse but then you crash into a pole your horse dies and you get shot in the face and then your legendary despawns
If you don't know, the legendary animal's pelt despawns but it goes to the guy where you buy those special clothes. You just don't receive the money for selling it
