- STOPPING THE WORLD! Tour invades Wekfest LA 2015 at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA!
Wekfest never fails to amaze with its fine selection of show cars and this year is no different. Unique builds like the Model A/Formula 1/S2000 mashup and the Miata with a Pit Crew front end were among the many showstoppers in attendance.
We would like to express our gratitude to Wekfest USA for awarding us "Vendor of the Festival." Thanks also to Big Abe and the beautiful R1 Ladies; Cristal Aguirre, Brittani Paige, Erica Law, and Raquel Estrella!

How did you get the transitions from the wide shots to the wheels so cleanly? Were they just sped up panning shots or zoom or something else(CGI)?
No sophisticated CGI here, just a bunch of camera and editing tricks! Those are 2 separate clips with Impact Zoom Blur transition between them.

+Joshua Hooper We usually shoot using a 24-105 lens on a 5D Mk2 with nothing else but steady hands!
R1 Concepts Some steady hands!
We also apply the warp stabilizer effect to nearly all clips, but the original shot needs to be as steady as possible for best results.
