I think the 1990 film is by far the best. I don't think they'll ever make a better TMNT film. It's almost like it's a happy accident. I agree though, it is a shame that they don't follow up on Raph's story. Best portrayal of Raph imo.

It sucks that we only have 2 genuinely good TMNT movies and if I had to rank them from worst to best it would be Out of the Shadows, TMNT 2014, TMNT III, TMNT 2007, Secret of the Ooze and TMNT 1990.
good ranking matt altho tnmt 3 has bad diolog its not the worst 2014 imo is worse the best is imo tnmt 2 secret of the ooze and tmnt 1990

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993 ) Is Ok But Still Has Problems
TMNT 2014, TMNT 2016 Micheal Bay’s Movie Two Pieces Of Shit
I like the first movie the best. Judith Hoag and those gorgeous legs aside, it had the best action, music and story and atmosphere for me. And Elias Koteas did a great job as Casey Jones. I thought Secret of the Ooze was cool as a kid, but its more of a kiddie movie to me with the goofy mutants and the ninja rap. And Paige Turco (although also beautiful) didn't compare as April. But that movie is like Casablanca compared to the Michael Bay films. And I fear what Seth Rogen is going to do the Turtles, he is going to make Michael Bay look competent in comparison!

I disagree on when you said the 1st movie barely develops on Raph's storyline because I don't think movie failed doing so, the scene that shows Splinter talking to Raph is showing a close relationship between father and son moment which Splinter tells Raph to control his anger when dealing wit enemies and to not forget his brothers nor his father because one day he might lose them or they might lose him in the future which also kinda shows why Leo is so depressed over Raph's unconsciousness and injuries.
They don't follow through on it, they forget it when the third act kicks in.

Now knowing the plot of the sequel of the 2007 TMNT flick I'm glad it didn't happen even though my favorite turtle Mike is the only one not turned back into a baby turtle and I'm guessing not yet mutated?
