Just found this now after revisiting this album, this cover is phenomenal.
Really late to this video, but I'm trying to find guitar covers so I can sorta study how its played because I want to learn this song when I learn guitar. This is so good. And Hoooly shit those cleans are incredible, yo. The both of you. I don't want to take away from this performance, because it is actually amazing, but I can't listen to the original without getting chills, and chills were not had here. But again, not to take away from this cover, I just love the original that much that nothing can really compare.
That being said, I'll have to check out your other stuff because this was hella good

Niko (the drummer) and Jordan (The vocalist who sang the first chorus) and I are all in a band called seraphim. Dakota (the other vocalist) and Andrew (The bassist) play in a band called whitelake with me. Dakota doesn't do vocals in that band though, he's a really talented guitarist so he plays guitars with me. But thanks dude!

Hey Lee and Friends. I really love your work. Some background about myself. I WAS a guitarist until a surgically caused incomplete spinal cord injury has affected my fretting hand to the point that I can now only play in either dropped or open tunings. Given that I could play almost anything this has really affected my life as music is really the only thing that keeps me going day to day. I love your work with Jonathan Young, especially Sk8ter Boy. The video is awesome 👌 🤘🎸. I'm curious about what your tunings are that you use? Looking at your fretting hand it looks like open or dropped but if you have time to respond to this or offer some advice, it would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Sincerely since this happened nearly 3 years ago I have struggled daily with this issue. Thanks again for your great content. I love Deadwood too. Thanks from Australia 🤘🎸🎼🎵.
