I have the Universal 2009 re-issue of the Fine Fine line CD album. Apart from the lyrics and songwriter credits there is a real lack of information in the sleeve notes about the album in general which had been disappointing. Thanks John for covering the background to the album in more detail and about the musicians involved. From what I understand Andy F had many strings to his bow and multi-skilled. That's interesting about Hugh P getting the gig in the end with the mix that went out, as he was the 'name' at the time. I noticed quite a strong chorus/flanger effect on the Hugh mix which reminded me of the influence of Andy Summers. Enjoyed hearing your original mix of Living This Eternal Dream.
Enjoyed this, thanks for sharing John.
my favorite album!

Does anyone know the actual release date of the FFL record? I can't find it anywhere online, only shows the year 1984.
Thanx for the story. I was SO hoping to hear this without the horrid 80s sounds. Would love to hear a remix that sounds more natural.
