Hi coaches, thanks for this video, this one is of great use to me. I keep kicking myself if I play badly after a big break, but you guys talk and teach with such politeness and understanding that it makes me feel better.
Just one question, if i get a short ball from fast bowler at about 4th stump line, i want to play lofted pull shot over midwicket, or to midwicket's left. I have seen Rohit Sharma do it, I played it myself once but now i can't get it right. I really feel it is possible, and it gets me more runs than a backfoot defence. Any thoughts?
The ball has to be short enough and you have to still shift your head into the line of the ball.

Hi I'm curious do you know of any exercises that can strengthen the wrists of your top hand if your top hand is the non-dominant hand? I find it takes very little effort for my bottom (dominant) hand to overpower my top hand even if I'm using a similar bottom hand grip to Zendon. While I'm scoring decent runs, its affecting my ability to time the ball when driving outside of the the square drive.
How can I get better at an academy?

Hmmm ... don't know why this vid came up on my feed. Maybe because I've been looking at getting back into hockey (ice not field) but I have no idea what cricket has to do whit conditioning myself for hockey. I'm in Canada and we don't normally play cricket here (with the exception immigrants). Interesting sport but I think I'll stick with our hockey sport instead. By the way ... where are these guys from? If I had to take a guess I'd say South Africa. Am I right?
