Crossing the border by bus from Costa Rica to Nicaragua through Peñas Blancas, starting in Liberia, Costa Rica and ending in Rivas, Nicaragua was pleasantly easy.
Four hours, two buses, $30 U.S. and a walk across the border. That's the nuts and bolts of this international trek. Surprisingly, no difficulties or drama.
