Lanshan tents ROCKS... They are a very very cheap version for ultralight campers. We all want the Zpacks Duplex but for 600$usd well, not everyone can spend that much money on a tent. NICE REVIEW!
Good review! Actually did 3 reviews on this tent on my channel. Used it for past year with no complaints. Held up great on the JMT, Smokys & many other trails. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
Yes i watched all your reviews and they played a huge part in making up my mind on this tent. So far I'm very pleased. We had a HUGE amount of rain this past month so it got a really good test.
Great review of the Lanshan.. Been dithering for a while now you convinced me to pull the trigger... 110 USD with the foot print.. Love collies.. Your dog is a beauty.. Used to have 2 border collies back in the day ,when I still lived in the UK. Enjoy your hiking/ camping adventures in the Lanshan.. Liked and subbed..
You might want to watch the video I am working on on an update of my Lanshan on issues I have just encountered with it. Hope to have it posted in the next day or so. Thanks for subscribing!

If you don't mind cuddling tight it would work but its more of a 1 11/2 person or 2 small people or an adult and a child kind of tent. Tons of room for 1 person.
Thank you for this weather test! Your dog is so cute! I was wondering who the fluff was from, and that's awesome that it stood up to pup paws, too. My dog will be pleased :)
excellent review, thank you for taking the time, well tested, I just bought one and I have put it up once and cant wait to test it out in the field, ATB Kaizer
That's a good thorough test and review, I am in the market for a tent but although it will be heavy I think I have fixed on the polish lavvu (2 x Poncho) tent, but that is a really good 1.5 man or woman tent (one person plus dog) :-) :-)
I really like it. I had my stansport but i had to use a tarp with it. This is really light, compact and spacious for 1 person 1, 2, 3.... dogs 😉 a d i think would pack up quite nicely in a pack. Did alot of research before i bought it. Thought about the one you want or a US military tent but i got to remember I'm a small woman and have to keep my base weight under control. Nice to hear from you my friend!!
Yes I think it would be perfect in a rucksack as it must be one of the lightest and compact tents I have seen for the space it gives. I know what you mean about keeping the weight down, I am starting to feel it now so I have to consider these things and plan where I go so I might get water at least, which is heavy. Also I now have the dog to consider, she is not fully trained up yet but I am working on it. Nice to hear from you too, what with work and all it is not easy to get out as much as we would like but my last camping trip will provide three or four videos so I might hold one or two in reserve for when I get back to work :-(
I accidentally removed the knots of the guidelines. Can any of you show me where the knot should be and what that guideline looks like by default? Thanks in advance. I really want to be able to use it for my first backpacking trip.
Hi Anjali. I will see if our snow and really cold weather goes away soon and show you. We have about -15 c here with snow and my fingers don't work well in really cold weather.
It is the original. They just put a different name on it. The second version that i bought after this was the winter inner with fly and directly from 3F UL and I'm still using the same tent. I dont leave my second version set up tho for any length of time. Its been well taken care of. I make sure its dry after use and kept in a dry room.
Great wind and rain test!!! Mine was delivered yesterday. I’m 70 yrs old now and trying to lighten my pack weight. Thank you for posting!
4? Years later and im still using the tent and still love it!
Great test and review. Friendly tip, the groundsheet shouldn't extend past the edges of the tent.

I love mine. It has been through several major Georgia storms and no leaks. I have not done anything to it since I unwrapped it.

i love the lanshan! my daughter and I stayed dry in a huge storm. it was alot of fun!
How comfortable is the tent with two people? I use a pad that is 20” wide as does my gf. Thanks in advance

I have had dogs in this tent with sharp nails and no issues what so ever. Its a durable tent except for handling too much solar rays.
Good test and review 👍 Great job!
This is Real review!!

As of June 23 i still have the tent set up. Only time I adjust it is when i move it to cut the grass. Its still performing really well.
Excellent review 👍🏼

Gonna have to check this out 😀 thanks for the video
You will like it! Thanks for the comment and for watching!

@@BushcraftNFun That's very kind of you. I'll not planning my camping trip until well into May. Thank you and stay warm!
Hi, I'm back, ready to dust off my gear and give it a go. Please let me know when you'd be able to show me the knots on the guideline of your lanshan.
Is it the same as the original 3F UL though? in terms of built quality? or it's just another horrible knockoff?
