Hello and thanks for your update My family and I have been refugees at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Turkey for more than four years. I wanted to ask if there is a way for us to immigrate to New Zealand.
They've confirmed there will be no international students coming in until next year. At this stage it looks doubtful that it will even be in the first quarter of 2021. They've advised all educators and have made financial compensation available to some institutions. Both political parties are adamant that our borders must stay locked down, and the priority is the overwhelming numbers of New Zealanders that are returning here. We don't have unlimited quarantine facilities available.

Hi mam my son is on a open visa till 2022 he is holding a Nz higher diploma in hospitality management but lack of jobs in that filed due to covid 19 he is working in a farm and I would like to know the change of getting PR or atleast another open visa after 2022 thank you

Hello, I’m a soon to be college graduate here in the States. I’ve been looking into a work visa for New Zealand in the field of Medical Laboratory Science. I graduate with a bachelors degree in December of this year (2020). Ive done some research and my degree is in high demand in New Zealand. I plan on taking my boards in January 2021 so I have my ASCP certification. How best should I go for applying for a work visa? Should I apply for jobs first and then a visa? Or obtain a visa and then start applying for jobs? Thank you so much

The government has made it clear there will be no international students allowed into the country until next year at the very earliest.
