June Ranson (CEO) discusses the new changes announced recently including extended visitor visa for those in New Zealand, visas for those stranded, repatriation assistance, people trapped overseas who had lived in NZ previously, offshore residence exemptions and more on the other critical worker pathway. Hello! I have the work holiday visa and i supposed to get in the country before 21 September of this year. Do you have any news about this kind of visa and if they gonna extend the expiration once they didn't open new the processes this year? I'm from Brazil and get my WHV approved in 2019

I have applied for visitor visa of New Zealand in 23rd January 2020, then i was expecting answer in beginning of march but suddenly the situation were changed because of Pandemic.
As you said in above video that the border will still remain closed.
Kindly advice if possible, when should i expect answer on my visitor visa application .

Sadly they will not do that fast. Think that nz gov needs to protect kiwi job. Maybe 2 years later? Just give up this visa

Currently the NZ Immigration stopped selecting the EOI for new application of permanent resident Visa. Would you have any idea when the NZ immigration begin to select the EOI for the skilled migrant category?

Thanks for your video, Can you please enlighten me whats difference between General visitor visa applied by Nz citizen partner or Visitor visa partnership based. I am Nz Citizen and I applied for my partner visitor visa partnership based 1198 form along with few more declaration form and dependent form and as per new instruction its says visitor visa for culturally arrange marriage. I am just confused that somehow all indian based cultural arrange marriage come under visitor Visa right ?
Yes you can apply ur partner general visitor Visa if u r citizen's oh nz coz they open partner visa for that person who holding new Zealand citizenship
If u married in India then u can bring ur partner and u can apply her visa as partner
Hi June, my husband has student work visa and Is currently in NZ. Me and our son got visa on 6th March which is going to expire In October. Our exception request was also rejected. It's been around an year that our family is separated and there are many family like ours. Please be considerate about our situation and allow us to travel atleast who have their visa or at the least please extend it.

I hold high skill work visa expiring in 2023. I lived in NZ since August 2020 for almost 11 months but not in a row. I traveled to Australia for a project work on 2nd of March 2020 and since ever I'm here. I have still ongoing job and pay the income tax to IRD.
Would I be eligible to return back to NZ in November 2020? Fortunately I have got some work here in Australia.

Hi Ma’am, can there also be discussion about partners of work holder visa? I’m not yet ordinarily residing in New Zealand as my job was in my home country, it was our plan last March to settle in together in NZ when the borders closed. Right now I’m separated with my partner who is in New Zealand. It’s been very difficult being separated.

Its been 6 months my file have launched on student visa for new zealand but still no response, it was just a waste of time for me this is the worst experience with any embassy in the whole world i think i dnt why they are still not processing file for international students lots of money have been wasted till now but not a single response from them embassy and i request to the other students do not waste your time in this process
I read somewhere that they'll start to process offshore visas after November 9nth. But that's also not sure. You should have applied to Canada

I am german born girl and have a germany nationality. Earlier i lived in hamburg but since last some years i have been studying in india. I got married to a guy in india this year on 16 february he went to new-zealand in march 2020 as he is working in new zealand on work visa in a reputated company i have just completed my master in computer application form a well known reputated university and i want to join my husband.
