Thank you for including comparison with Smart Band 8. As a long time user of Smart Band 4, I'm considering to upgrade to 8 this year. But as a Samsung user, maybe it's better to get Fit 3 for Samsung Health app, so watching a comparison of this 2 is a big help
I like the Galaxy Fit3 better than the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, but it is better to have Samsung smartphone or at least Android, because it is not compatible with iOS.

I've happily worn my Galaxy Fit2 for about 18 months and was delighted to get my new Galaxy Fit3 on Ebay. After I noticed that my new Fit3 seems to be 'adding' mor3 than 30% additional steps through out the day, I am now wearing both for a comparison. It even makes up steps that aren't there! Well, I just did a test of walking 2000 steps, and they were in surprising sync: Fit2 recorded 1969 steps and the Fit3 recorded 1974. This doesn't give me any hints as to why, during normal wear, the Fit3's wildly out of synch with Fit2. I had already turned off the Fit3's exercise detection function. In addition, the battery loses its juice about 20% each day.
I just got mine pink gold! and worth my money its so smooth elegant and good performance but one thing I dont really like it is it doesnt measure spO2 automatically or did I miss something anyone please let me know, thanks

Thanks! Galaxy Fit3 and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro look similar, but Xiaomi fitness bracelet has larger display, and it is bigger itself - 45 x 33 x 11mm (Xiaomi Band 8 Pro) and 43 x 28 x 10mm (Galaxy Fit3). I personally find the Samsung bracelet to be the perfect size and weight.
In Indonesia, I can connect the sport band to Xiaomi phone. of course, camera controller is not available. I think it's exclusive to Samsung phone.

No blood pressure monitor, only blood oxygen.
Had been using this since last Monday. With AOD on and regular usage including 1 hour exercise it only last for 2 and half days. Let's see without AOD how long it will last. Have switched off the AOD
It doesn't last much, but it's way better after the first charge. Without permanent pulse checks, I get 5 days of use.

If it had Samsung PAY and what's app notifications . It was pure gold
It shows notifications from all of your apps, including WhatsApp.
Not only notifications but you actually can read whole messages on this screen.
It's really great, what I don't like about it though is that new notifications don't override old ones when there's little time between them

I had galaxy fit 1 (r370) that watch is big failure, now I am thinking about buying this one, I have two questions, is this going to be available in other countries, and that will it be worth the price, and a big improvement from mine
Galaxy Fit3 is already available in the US Amazon (link in the description below the video), and you can buy it in many other countries. The bracelet supports so many languages. I think it will be a very noticeable upgrade from Galaxy Fit 1.
I had the Fit 1, the Fit e(?) and the Fit 2. They could do something what other manufacturers like Huawei until now can‘t do, and this is to mirror all the app-icons from your smartphone. You have to wonder why other manufacturers are just not able to do this simple thing until this day. It’s extremely annoying to get a notification and to have to guess from which app it is. But yes, Samsung managed other things too, like automatic workout recognition back then in those simple fitness trackers.
You know, the Galaxy Fit3 is the first fitness bracelet from Samsung that I've tested, but I'm really surprised that it has features that others don't have.
Both Mi Band 8 and Galaxy Fit 3 cache/mirror app icons from the smartphone (unlike Huawei Watch Fit and GT series)

Great that you were able to connect to an Android device no from Samsung. I haven't tested sleep tracking during the day yet. I'll try it later.
Can i ask if you can reply to notif from Messenger? i saw some videos that allow u to reply back to a notif yet i do not know if messenger also works

Yes, I can quick reply to messages with preprogrammed text fields. You can also add custom ones.

It's extremely similar in shape and functionalities even in charger design etc. It's probably made by the same 3rd party company and branded by Sami and Huawei/Honor

No, you cannot see images in notifications. The bracelet just shows a notification that a picture has been sent to you.
This is a feature of WearOS (Galaxy Watch series)
I think both band screen size is good since right now I wear a Mi band 7
The Galaxy Fit3 is much more comfortable for me than Smart Band 8. I can't feel it on my hand at all, and a few times I even thought I'd lost it.

You can only enable the Do not disturb mode on the watch, but not on the smartphone.

@@ThunderX838You need the galaxy wereable app at minute 5:45 the do not disturb option appears and when you activate it on the watch it is also activated on the phone I don't know if it works on non-Samsung phones
To be honest, there's a chance the silent feature can't be applied on non android phones

You know, Galaxy Fit3 is one of the most comfortable fitness bracelets I've ever tested. I don't feel it on my wrist at all. However, I really have a thin wrist, so if you have a bigger one, then the bracelet might look tiny.

I am very much on the large side and it fit me on the last pip of the strap. I was worried it would be uncomfortable but honestly I've forgotten I've worn it. As a tip for extra comfort I wear it with the screen on the underside of my wrist as I have all my watches.

Yeah, thats weird, this will be probably one of the most popular products in the world just for Quality/price, and for those who don't want to spend an eye in a Galaxy Watch. They just released it in South America and India, so maybe only for countries that doesn't buy watches a lot I think, no one is talking about that, which is weird. There's a global version in South America btw.
The international model is sold on Amazon for $79

Can you go to the store and try both bracelets? The Galaxy Fit3 is much more comfortable for me than the Xiaomi Smart Band 8. I think comfort is more important than the interface.

Does the watch have a smart alarm?
What do you mean by smart alarm? It has bixby routine for sleeping and for when you wake up, there are three choices of sound you can pick to wake up
1. Bixby voice, (updates on weather and calendar, and trafic)
2. Playlist on Spotify
3. Songs/Sound in the system or inside your phone storage.
@@prahastha1618 By smart wake-up I meant that the alarm is set, for example, for 6:00 a.m., but it has the possibility to wake up earlier, i.e. at the moment when I am not in deep sleep.
Galaxy Fit3 doesn't support a smart alarm.

I have a tablet nd i have been ordered this device(not delivered yet), while reading it's manual (from Samsung shop) I found that this device isn't compatible with tablets and computers. On the other hand I downloaded the wearable apps on my tablet (LTE, With ONEUI6)form playstore nd it prompt me to connect with buds nd galaxy fit by showing respective image. I request u to pls let me know whether this device compatibility with tablets (ur tablets if u have any) nd let me know , it will help to take decisions to cancel the order or not

I haven't found information on display scratch proof, but you can always stick a protective glass over the screen. I think they will be available on sale soon.

I also have the same problem, but I use a Samsung mobile phone. I think the compatibility will be better if I use a bracelet of the same brand as the mobile phone. Especially some functions of the Samsung galaxy fit 3 can only be used on Samsung phones. So you can use Xiaomi band 8 pro, because it is cheaper and has more functions on your Xiaomi phone.

Yes, these bracelets look similar, but I see right away that they have different straps. In addition, the Huawei band has 1.64-inch display, while the Galaxy Fit3 comes with 1.6-inch screen. These are the differences I immediately noticed between them.
