My house burned down, i watched everything i ever owned and worked for burn down in front of me, i suffered severe burns trying to stop the fire and didn't succeed. For some reason this song has been getting me through day by day, i feel like they are speaking directly to me telling me not to quit. That 'when the lights go out but the fire remains' hits a little different for me.. the power in my house shorted and I woke up to a fire alarm and a house on fire at 4 30am caused by an electrical fault.. 'that wind beneath your sail when you cant maintain, that get up and go again, dont let pressure control your brain, dont just mess up and float away' these bars play on repeat in my head, i have a 10 year old daughter i have to stay strong for, this song helps save my life on the daily, so thank you.
