Kyle was already in the philippines way long before pinoy baiting was even a thing. I remember watching this dude traveling mindanao by himself. The time where the stigma ,misconception about mindanao, how dangerous it is for foreign nationals to be travelling there. The time when the possibility of terrorists might kidnap foreign nationals. He was already vlogging about mindanao. Before he even met Kumar. So yeah, this dude is LEGIT like bisayang hilaw. This guy is a PIONEER, a legend. Even wil dasovich idolizes him. He even said kyle is one of his inspiration. I met this dude twice. In Makati and trinoma qc. Very approachable and easy to talk to. PS: I actually think that kyle, even before duterte was president. Kyle was definitely one of the people who changed the image of Mindanao as a safe place to travel for foreign nationals.

Foreign vloggers are actually spreading the real image of the Philippines and how friendly Filipinos are also promoting the tourism industry of the Philippines. Those who thinks foreign vlogers are only doing it for Filipino bait are totally wrong. Let them spread and show the world how beautiful Philippines is….
Except for the foreigners who travel here to just make it as a content. Theres a lot of foreigners right now are coming to the philippines not for vacation. But for youtube content
Hmm.. how can they spread the real image of the Ph outside if all of their subscribers and watchers are all Filipinos too? Filipinos are the only ones watching these type of contents sadly. OFWs too and maybe a foreigner or two. Try reading all the comments, there are hardly foreigners in it.
I have been a big fan of kulas since 2016.. With the way he love our country and the way he shows positivity, and the way he embrace our culture, I can say he is more filipino than everyone of us..
Kulas is one of my favorite vlogger he’s a good influence to all Filipinos to appreciate our country! Also for foreigners to come and visit Philippines. Good for tourism. He’s a positive influence.

Being a FilAm couple we have been living in Mindanao for years now and then we was attacked by people here for Pinoy Baiting, we are just a multi-race family sharing our life. We love people and want to share, Mindanao is great place to live.
whatever color you are. white, black, brown, etc deserve to be a filipino. just love the country. obey the law. Kulas can be considered a teacher who always shows the positive. no animosity. his heart was really clean. I think his habit is contagious if we always watch him. especially those with him in their place. we must emulate him that we must be true Filipinos with love for the country. he is the reason I start blogging.
@Peta Hamish when it comes to tourists our government doesn't care unless they do traditional business. blogging in the Philippines does not need to pay taxes. unless you are working with the media. and most of the media here are not also paying their tax like ABS CBN company. that is not illegal. the nations have an agreement. when your income is from abroad you are exempted from tax in your home country. it means double tax is not allowed for example. youtube bloggers in the Philippines. 30% is taxed by the US before giving the total revenue. not needed to pay tax especially the big youtubers who earn millions. the US remittance is already a big help to the Philippines. and yet, our law is old since 1987. there is no law about vloggers to pay tax.etc and in violation of the law. politicians, agencies, authorities are number one violators of the law. and non -payment of tax is not incarcerating.
@Peta Hamish hahah no one can pays that if that law applied for all bloggers. you misinterpreted the law that doesnt exist for this time. we have law to obey which is 1987 constitution. if that law is still effect. where did you get your basis under 1987 constitution? stated your 2nd paragraph? that law will conflict for the mutual agreement of both countries stating nNon-resident citizens and aliens are subject to income tax on Philippines-sourced income only. the question, where do bloggers get the source of income? is youtube in the philippines? hahaha
@Peta Hamish Income of residents in Philippines is taxed progressively up to 32%. Resident citizens are taxed on all their net income derived from sources within and without the Philippines. For nonresident, whether an individual or not of the Philippines, is taxable only on income derived from sources within the Philippines. likewise for the foreigners. for example I am a foreigner in the Philippines, i will pay may tax if my business/income came from here. but if my income derived outside in the philippines. i am exempted. and If i am a filipino. my income derived from outside the Philippines. i am also exempted for that tax. same for oversees filipino workers. they are exempted. unless they have traditional business here in the Philippines. in short, where your source of income comes from, you will pay there. end of discussion.
Exactly. Double taxation is violation for both countries to pay their taxes. OFW are also exempted because their income derived from the US. same for the YT Vloggers. youtube deducted their revenue 30%. Then the receiver doesn't need to pay another 32%.
I love Kulas for being different from other vlogger he just do whatever he wanted to do. Unlike some vloggers who make the same content that are trending on UA-cam. His uniqueness and being genuine of his vlog, what makes Kulas my Favorite vloggers in the Philippines, aside that he is introducing Philippines to other people. We love him cause he love the Philippines too.
I think if you are into pinoy baiting, I guess Filipino has their own well to watch thier content or not and sometimes I didn't watch does Vloggers, it's totally easy to know whether they are pinoy baiting or not. Will let say you are right about 95% are all Filipino watching the vlog but I guess 5% of them are Foreigner I think that would be enough for other countries to know more the Philippines, and that 5% will become 100%. Me as a Filipino we already know if that person is genuine or not. Were not naive, And if you didn't know Kulas I guess it's the time to for you to know him.

Kulas was one of the foreign pioneer vloggers who came here in the Phils...I think his batch was with Will and Basel (correct me if Im wrong)...I think no Pinoy never considered him as a Pinoy baiter.. he's genuine..
Will is a half pinoy.
I met Kulas a couple of times here in Vancouver when he comes home to visit. You can tell he is genuine. His passion in connecting to people with good vibes is real that you will be amazed listening to all his stories about his experiences living in our country. Amping Kulas @becomingfilipino congratulations for becoming a Filipino citizen!!!! Funny though coz recently I just got my Canadian passport! Now you are a Filipino and I’m a Canadian passport holder😊 cheers to that!
Woww thanks for being so keen..I agree
Kuya Kyle is truly a blessing to the Philippines. 💖💖💖
I’ve been following kyle aka kulas since 2015 ,… thank u so much for all the positive vibes that u showed in Philippines , so much love and respect 🫡 to u Kyle,
And thanks boss bai chito, si sak maestro ha basi maka chit chat nimo puhon, hehehe 😜
Most are fake and doing it for a business
No they don't.
wag gullible
I have been a big fan of kulas since 2016.. With the way he love our country and the way he shows positivity, and the way he embrace our culture, I can say he is more filipino than everyone of us..
Kulas is one of my favorite vlogger he’s a good influence to all Filipinos to appreciate our country! Also for foreigners to come and visit Philippines. Good for tourism. He’s a positive influence.
Yesssss
Kuya Chito, please continue to do high quality content like this. Pinapanood ko lahat ng videos mo, dami ko natutunan. Giving you some $ to show my deep appreciation.
#greatchallenge for you Lukas sa mga negative thoughts thank you for being #SOPOSITIVE YOU ARE #SOCANADIAN...WE FILIPINO SHOULD ADOPT SA PAGKA POSITIVE ... I can prove CANADIAN COUNTRY IS SO NICE AND #SUPER FRIENDLY COUNTRY TOO❣️it’s nice to be part of being anywhere 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏
Kulas is very STOIC person. His positivity is in a different level... Kudos!... Mao na diha.
#Christina Feliciano = "STOIC" is a strange word choice. I don't think Kulas/Kyle is that at all.
Kulas always reminds me of my brother and him in a cafeshop in iloilo. I lost my brother but everytime he reminds me of my brother. More power to both of you. I always watch kulas ! Mabuhay ka kulas like always "power on"!
We love Kulas! 💞
He is real and authentic! Thank you for your interview of Kulas. His vlog was the very first we've ever watched on youtube during the pandemic. He kept us entertained here in California. 🥰
Love the way, Kulas look always brighter side. Negative turn into a positive mindset.
You two have this kind heart! Love you both continue to be a blessing to every Pilipino out there!
Thank you for showcasing Mindanao, how beautiful it is! #chitchat
Chito kudos! Love love
I am glad that Kulas lives in my hometown, Cateel. Somehow, Kulas is a blessing to Cateel since he always show to the people how beautiful my hometown is.
Kulas cannot really say anything negative about Philippines because he turns it the other way around...staying positive in whatever happens....power on Kulas...
PHENOMENAL si Kulas..di kaya Alien si Kulas🤔
@@ohyeahtv4715 Good job Kulas. A lot of filipinos need to stay positive. Thank you Chito for having Kulas. More power to both of you.
You can really sense the love and his passsion for the Philippines. Thanks for being here in our country Kulas. We're bless to have you. Keep going! 👍💪
We Filipinos are so lucky to have Kulas in the Philippines. He's so lucky more than most Filipinos as he has traveled so many places in the country more then myself leaving abroad and only saw few places in my own country and he inspired me and most Filipinos to visit more often other places in the Philippines specially to experience the provencial way of life. KULAS IS A BLESSING TO THE PHILIPPINES, HE HELPED A LOT OF PEOPLE SPECIALLY DURING BAD TIMES WHEN TYPHOONS OR OTHER CALAMITIES STRUCK OUR COUNTRY, KULAS IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP. ONE DAY HE'LL BE A TRUE FILIPINO.😂😂😂😂
Lucky???? sure you face wui!
Great interview. And Kulas is not a Pinoy baiter. People tune into him regularly, i.e. me because you can feel he's genuine. He was doing the vlog thing before everyone jumped on the vlogging to make money wagon. I especially appreciate him for the light he's shown Mindanao. Pinoy's have a habit of generalizing and he's the opposite of that. He digs in and shows the details of why this is this and that is that. He's an OG and true. Thanks again for this!
And you would notice that Kulas never ask the viewers to "like and subscribe".
Very well said about Kulas
@@alaingil9098 that's very true sir. He even said something about that when he was in CDO while packing/arranging he's stuffs before leaving to Cateel.
You are awesome KULAS! Thanks for loving so much Mindanao and showing the world that our Island is not all about war. It's a beautiful place to live. so shame to hear from co Filipinos generalizing us that Mindanao is all Abu Sayyaf!
Thanks for loving not only the Mindanao Kulas but the whole Philippines... Hoping and praying that your Ph Citizenship will be granted..You are much deserving to be one us...Keep spreading positive vibes always..
I learned that it is true that a positive mind can change everything. I love how he described himself that he is just a reflection of the people from here. Wow! He is an angel.
you are person with kind heart. Your positive outlook in life more blessings to your life all love you and thank you for loving our beloved country. Watching from Canada
Two humble people 🙌🏼 Hope you’ll have ChitChat too with Bogart and Kulas in the future!
Last year I was down with a symptomatic covid symptoms and hard breathing but watching kulas kept me in a positive mood despite the hardship of being sick. More special is he responded when I thanked him for being positive and inspirational.
Kulas is really living with the heart of a Filipino! He embraced the culture and the visayan dialect and the Filipino language! He sets aside negativity within the filioino culture and only accepted positive characteristics of the society where he lives! Good for you Kulas! You’re admirable and the kind of blogger I like cause your true and honest in all your ways, thoughts and your feelings! I’m so glad your happy in a country where you’ve chosen to stay and made good friends with the locals! I also like the house you built! God bless you always and may He protect you wherever you go in the country from any harm!👍🙏❤️
Kulas is an inspiration! Live life with "PASSION & PURPOSE." Thank you so much for this interview! We watch Kulas pretty much daily at our house in 🇺🇸. Love his values & positive vibes & appreciate this video helping us to get to know him better & his experiences that led him to where he is today ❤️
This guy is truly admirable, sincere and genuine. He has already been here and has been promoting the country way before "pinoy baiting" has been coined to anyone. You really can tell who is "fake" and who has the country's best interest at heart. More power to him ✌🙂
Kulas daghan kaayong Salamat sa imo pagmahal sa Pilipinas, and sharing what truly Mindanao is, that we are not all all “Abu Sayyaf's”.
Kudos Chito for this webisode.
Kulas is the most genuine person I've ever come across on UA-cam and I look forward to meeting him in the future once I finally get myself back to the Philippines my home of my heart and soul and my family.
Great video bro this is my first video of the channel. I subscribed na see how it goes. Peace. 🇬🇧🇵🇭✅👍✌️
Great conversation. Kulas is actually more Filipino as compared to other Filipino. His a blessing to our country by promoting Philippines as one of the best country in the world. I His attitude very humble ang Jolly.
You will get more subs by interviewing him...that's for sure. He is more Pinoy than most of us. He refused to be involve in politics in PH...that's good for him. I genuinely admire this guy... he is always a positive guy. BTW what a good interview. I learned a lot from this. Thanks Chito.
Great interview…I like your way of interviewing Kulas, you let Kulas answer your questions without cutting him off and not your sugarcoating the interview. I learned a lot more about Kulas from this interview. Well done sir!!!
Me too nice that he appreciates our country and Filipino people. Kay very positive sya nga tao. Salamat kulay enjoy.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Positivity is the key and if stereotyping is on top of your mind then better stay where are you coming from . Kulas is a sort of eccentric , we should be grateful to him end story . Who wouldn't be proud with a person like Kulas ❤
Never gets old. Hats off to you both !!
My first trip to the Philippines was in 2017 and I just wanted to stay there cuz I loved it so much. I'm hoping that I can make it my home in the near future
I wish Mama Rose was mentioned in this video. She definitely had a huge influence in #BECOMINGFILIPINO’s decision to stay and build a home in Cateel!!! Aloha from Hawaii 🏝🌋🤙🏾
Kulas, you are not just a regular guy, Chito and you are special to all the rest of us for making our daily lives more enjoyable.Keep doing what you guys are doing and we will follow every inch of the way.
Thanks to Chito’s team for having this interview with our national treasure Kulas. Power on!
Lila’s has embraced the Filipino culture; he exemplified being a good citizen of this country and a good ambassador of Canadians to the PH.

I’m one of he’s followers and I love how he showing many places in Philippines specially in mindanao area,,
Super aper to the two of you Chito ang Kulas mga super idol. Thank you kulas for being genuine to us Filipinos and salamat for choosing Philippines as your second home. Power on!
Kulas's color is a headstart in his vlogging career. That's a fact. Kulas benefitted from Pinoy-baiting. That's also a fact. However, Kulas used his advantage wisely. He didn't just sit and react to anything Filipino. He really immersed himself in the communities that he features.
Thank you for giving us an insight into the man named Kulas and his love for our country, culture, values, norms, and quirks as a people; and letting us know "us". Keep on!
Thank you Kulas for promoting Mindanao, the Philippines rather. uncle Chito is right you’re a blessing kay talagsaan ra kaayo ka na tao na bisan pa ug dele ka filipino pero ge dedicate gyod nimo imong time diha sa Pinas. Hope to see you puhon. Apir ta diha bay!! Watching from Florida
I remember a negative one Kyle. It was when you parked your motorcycle at Limketkai and when you came back, your helmet was stolen. But you still managed to smile and just go on with it. 🤙🏽
This is a great interview and very inspiring really to get to know more about Kulas. Good nature Canadian boy spreading positive vibes to a beautiful country. I was raised most of my life in Canada but I was born in CDO. I reflect my travels around the world and my heart seems to fall back to the country were I was born. It's a dream for now of going back to the Philippines and I hope it will become a reality. Very grateful for this video
We live in Vancouver but only in the Philippines I will spread my working money❤️❤️❤️ not anywhere in the world because is so beautiful to discover.
The only thing bad about this interview is it ends....
Hope its longer....
Kudos!

Hey People, were here in mindanao. Were here until now. Kulas is true. Awesome feeling when you're here in Mindanao. Nature vibes, more hikings, simple people and tranquility.. South Cotabato here..😊
I really appreciate Kulas on whatever he does!! Salute to you and to your parents! You have been instilled with something a degree holder can't sometimes even have 😊
Kulas is a very special he is unique vlogger unlike other white vlogger becoming Filipino channel is the most I've watched than other channel because it connects us to ordinary pilipino lifestyle its just as inside the house a family having conversation that's what the becoming Filipino channel content best of the best

He's very kind & very positive in life! Very genuine person! I like him so much!
Kulas is just so humble is genuine and real and it is so refreshing. I admire him for his sincerity and he is such an admirable person!
Kulas never mentioned in his whole vlog since the begginning '' Like and Subcribe and Hit the notification button"..
Yes good observation. My family is from Kauai. I see lots of people that want to come here and I think your crazy. Your country is so awesome!
Kulas never vlog on command. I respect that. I’ve never heard him say “what do you want to see me go or do in my youtube channel? “
Being a FilAm couple we have been living in Mindanao for years now and then we was attacked by people here for Pinoy Baiting, we are just a multi-race family sharing our life. We love people and want to share, Mindanao is great place to live.
If your doing it without making income I don’t see a problem
whatever color you are. white, black, brown, etc deserve to be a filipino. just love the country. obey the law.
Peta Hamish is ignorant in the law and lack of logic. 😌
Mabuhay ka Kukas amping pirma don't stop in spreading the positivity and letting the world see the Philippines
#chitchat salamat Kol Chito
power to you kulas and chito..👌👌☝️☝️solid and inspiring content
Thank you for this great interview with Kulas, in your Chito Chat!More power to you both!
I met you in Buscalan and I salute the fact that you are more Filipino in heart than most of us. Thank you for loving our country. ❤️
I saw his sincerety thats why i follow his channel..
Kulas positive mindset You two have this kind heart! Love you both continue to be a blessing
Ngayon ko lamang napanood itong episode and kulas Becoming Filipino I do also watch his blog since 2019 sa Cagayan De oro city pa xia nakatira sa apartment with Brett but during pandemic they transfer sa house viagero store sa taas sila nakatira kasama din ang fur dog ni Brett na si Butter at na migrate na sa Canada 🍁..congratulations kulas legit Filipino na po siya...❤😇
