@@redmojogames Thats my point, I hate it when something so basic (meaning both design and cost) as thin plastic insert is kickstarter/deluxe edition only. Whats the point? What about customers who have to wait for retail editions for their language versions which is not available in campaign? That was my exact case. We got punished for nothing? Don't tell me colored cardboard was that much cheaper, also that cardboard is weirdly designed, map pieces overlap over the "barrier/separator... Deluxe extras should be real deluxe content - figurines instead of standees, plastic/wooden/acrylic tokens instead of cardboard tokens and other stuff, different markers, double layered player boards, better meeple models, you name it. I would rather pay 2-3 USD extra to cover extra material cost (compared to that useless cardboard you put in retail box to have it nicely sorted and have some empty filler for missing statues, which might not even be required if you put empty punchboards underneath. And if I decide to buy statues as it is available to buy separately I can simply put in the box and everyone is happy. For example Endless Winter provided tray in retail edition for everyone, plenty of other publishers do it as well. I like the game, is very good euro, but when I unboxed my copy in local language I was very disappointed that it does not contain this insert which make quite long setup even longer. So I have to design and print my own on 3D ptinter to make setup/cleanup shorter. Please next time think about all customers, not just how to make more people back KS.

Let me clarify that when the Gamefound campaign came out it did so with all the retail languages and a few more, in total 12 languages. No new languages have been added in subsequent print-runs. The plastic insert is actually rather expensive; the tray system was made up of 6 trays and 5 lids of 1.3mm PET. The individual player containers were made to match the player colors. Because the tray system occupied the whole box, many pieces had to be manually unpunched and placed in the compartments of the tray by our manufacturer, increasing the manipulation costs etc. These elements where produced exclusively for the deluxe edition, as it would definitely have a significant impact in the retail edition price way more than the 3 or 4 USD.
@@redmojogames Thanks for the reply, I am not going to follow up on discussion, I understand your point - I would gladly pay extra money for insert where setup and cleanup takes ages. Can you please confirm if deluxe box and retail box have the same dimensions or height is different?
