THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on UA-cam now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

I also use tiny jet engines, even with top tier, with fuel tank staged orbiter.. methodically speaking, the range extender tanks that I drop to ocean have negative drag, it adds power instead of consuming. Simple logic, but flawless returns.
That's weird. I had actually been playing Career mode these last few nights. I think I was having Vaos withdrawals.

for an early-game design you can try 1 panter and 2 terrier engines for power. Use basic rocket single-seat capsule and a very shallow ascent profile. Technically can land on minmus and back to kerbin in this SSTO if you optimize a bit. Yes, Panther requires some research.
Hey vaos, I just wanted to say that I love your videos and I watch all of them, even your solar nations series. You have inspired me to do so much in ksp and I hope you can continue, especially with the kind of fall of ksp 2 making ksp 1 vids less popular.

Great designs! I noticed that you had not made orbital velocity when you decoupled the Mun lander. How tight was the timing to get the second stage on its way and get back to the lifter to stop it from burning up in the atmosphere?

Good golly I love the design of the trident. Also innovative solution with the SRB for de-orbiting obsolete satellites, I think I'm gonna do that on my career save as well.
For me sstos are the holy grail of this game...
After years i finally managed to learn and master docking ...i still cant do evas in space and have problems with controlling in docking mode thats why i dont use it...
I also dont use rcs...
@vaos how did you connect the two ships? I see the decoupler, but you have a nose cone behind it?
Its a small fuel tank that is attached to the top to connect the satellite.

As soon as I unlocked probecores I setup my first relay system using SSTO rockets that I landed on KSC afterwards. SSTO's are a must in KSP. Even oversized rocket SSTOs (that I personally find easier and quicker to land at the runway vertically) saves me so much I easily rarely ever need contracts anymore. At the point where I fully upgraded everything the only contracts I am accepting are usually just contracts I can complete using my various bases and existing planetary ships. (I got a video I could link that shows roughly how I do them) Although I have started doing more spaceplanes too. And thx to some of your video some of the problems I had designing them at first has been resolved (Stil prefer to fly SSTO re-usable rockets due to them being faster) but I use spaceplanes for passangers and for returning certain cargo payloads.
