- Friends from all over the DMV area gather for some good ole drag racing. I’m on a winning streak as I took first place in the 3:50 index class. How long will my streak last? Cool video! I was wondering are there any advantages or disadvantages using the shorter chassis with a Pinto body? Is it harder to handle at speed due to the shorter chassis? Is it may be a little bit lighter than the longer wheelbase drag cars? Thanks!
Thanks! Not sure if there are any advantages or disadvantages. It can get a little twitchy with a hot tune but with the tune im running now it handles fine. It can be a little lighter than a stock wheelbase se car but I run a heavier battery (its what I had) and added a little weight to the nose.Fun Car with the DRK . DR10 is a good plateform anyway. Thats what the Pinto is but with a SR10 chassis.

We race in Crofton and Southern Maryland Golden beach park and ride..
I like electric but dragsters must have pistons and viciously loud engine noise
