You can’t say “but it’s a Hyundai” or “it’s still a Kia” anymore Hyundai,Kia and genesis are making high quality, reliable and fun to drive vehicles that people actually want now, infact Hyundai, Kia and genesis are making better vehicles than Honda and Nissan now
Hyundai is trying to be cooler than Mazda while Kia is trying to be Hyundai. Genesis is trying to be better than Acura, Cadillac, Alfa Romeo and Infiniti and position itself as competitor to Lexus, Volvo and the German brands and is succeeding at that.
I crack up every time someone says this shit 💀 it's still hyundai and kia. They put lipstick on a pig. It's still an unreliable POS underneath. They just look good and are fun to drive now
As much as I want the 3.3l V6 version, I don’t know if it’ll make much sense getting that engine since I have to drive an hr to work at least 2 times a week.
That’s because fewer people actually cared enough to get the proper engine, and the vast majority those that did intended on keeping the car for the full warranty.
I bought the 2021 G70 2.0T Elite and I love the car. The 4-cylinder is plenty powerful for my needs. I have no trouble passing on the highway. And I do value the better fuel economy. You didn't mention this but I love the grille. It's *jewel-like* ! This is really luxurious-looking and the car reminds me of a Bentley! I had my first of five free annual maintenance services (valet) and they gave me a 2022 G70 loaner. So I was able to compare the original with the refreshed model. I have to say, the refreshed model was a disappointment. I dislike the crest grille and split headlamps. I miss the fog lamps. I miss the boomerang side vents which gave the car a distinctive appearance. I dislike the half-physical, half-digital gauge cluster. And the rear end is butt-ugly (pun intended). The 2022 G70 does have some nice additional features but, on the whole, I prefer the 2021 model. Thanks for a good review.
I don't like the refresh. The only nice things it has are the all-digital instrument cluster, blind-spot cameras, and larger infotainment screen. Everything else is meh. The original 8-inch infotainment screen is big enough, and I prefer analog gauges.
Why this guy keeps saying "Sonata" i have no idea smh❗️It's silly❗️Lexus reviewers never say but the TOYOTA❗️Clearly he doesn't differentiate the BRAND❗️

The 2.0T is enough for all but driving enthusiasts.
Really underated brand
Can't wait till the refresh comes out the new redesign looks so good
I don't like the refresh. The original design appeals to me much more.
I hear nothing but bad feedback about owning a BMW or Mercedes, I’ll stick with the Korean car.
I am done with Honda
I’m choosing Hyundai now
I am with Hyundai (Sonata). My next car would be Genesis G70 or Kia Stinger.
@@Subh8081 drove both g70 3.3t and stinger 3.3 and genesis is more comfortable ride with similar drive (acceleration, braking)
LOTS of used G70 2.0Ts on the nicer used car lots in the Houston area. Almost never see used 3.3Ts.
That’s because fewer people actually cared enough to get the proper engine, and the vast majority those that did intended on keeping the car for the full warranty.
I got the 3.3t Sport.... amazing car
Are Genesis reliable?

2.0 litre 👎
Ben is handsome. Liking the shorts 😍
AND they gave you a tee shirt!! Nice car but it’s still a Hyundai
What does that even mean?
