Your appreciation for Nature shines better than any other broadcaster,I can’t tell You how many times I’ve watched birds move like those small geese,Beautiful ! My Grandfather used to call that smooth water dead water,It’s amazing how easy birds can spot more of it look natural with two decoys ,the move looks like mad a difference . Great Video !
You are a genuine hunter and there's so much I enjoy about your vids but it's the shot selection and accuracy that I really appreciate with so much online content presenting disrespectful shooting as normal and fun.
Dude, you inspired me to start shooting 28 Gauge. I just got my first limit of all Teal with it yesterday! It's so much fun. Keep at it man, we need more hunters like you setting the bar.
Been watching for a while, Matt. Appreciate the content. My boys look forward to watching you and we’ve even started creating a little bit ourselves! 👍🏼
Whoaoo! Beautiful footage and splendid location that you must have used before but again what a successful day duck and little geese hunting! Coup double Scotch double again and what a nice way as usual to pick your shots on the drakes of the different species you can collect! Great decoy spread, you barely have to call (that you edited on the video, you may have to do more?!?!!) Anyway fantastic solo kayak session! A delight to watch so thanks again for sharing your perfect modus operandi with us. Get warm and safe on the water in the cattails! God and Saint Hubert bless you for the rest of your season!
Matt ,you have the best duck hunting content. I watch your videos and a subscriber. Solo hunt are more fun to watch for me. I do mostly Solo duck hunts. Hopefully here in western washington it's get better. I been out 4times this year and got 2ducks so far. Maybe my bad shooting or need more ducks to fly over our area. Hopefully we get some colder and wetter weather to move more ducks ie mallards.
Pretty deadly with that 28 there Matt. Awesome hunt.! Love watching your vids. I got to smack some wood ducks with my 28ga 555 compact, but sure wish I could shoot what you do and as well. Birds just don't come here like they did 40-45 years ago.
Beautifull..What brand mallard decoy are you using.?.. Was thinking about using a870 16 gauge..I have and never fired..but could only find 1 box and they wanted 54.00 dollars for it...the last batch of 10 gauge I bought were only 10 bucks a box..I'll have to save some money up give Boss a call for next year..Remember you can never over lead...
I really look forward to all your videos. I KNOW you would increase your joy of waterfowl hunting at least 100 percent iif you get and hunt with a dog they really do make hunting much more fun. I had a hall of fame first dog still miss him
are you shooting those tungsten shells paying full price $ 4.50 a shot or do you get a discount? with as close as you decoy the birds i would think steel would work just fine
Discount. I'm testing out the 28 ga loads for Salt Creek. After using them, I don't think I'll go back. I would never recommend steel from a 28 ga on anything bigger than a dove.
For all the times you shoot into flocks you might aswell just shoot a single shot has 5 working with 2 in the decoys just to shoot at one of the 5 and educate birds

Excellent display of duck hunting skills
Appreciate that!
Your ability to pick drakes is incredible, I’m usually just happy for birds, congrats!!
Appreciate it!

Great video man keep it up!
Thanks!
There's nothing like sitting down for dinner and watching high prarie's hunt.
Appreciate that!
Matt, you have positive reviews from your fans. Keep up the good work. One shell in your gun, lol. Happens to the best of us.
Thanks Cooper!
What a great a bag! wow! I think your video ability is excellent. Seeing those geese work before shooting time was fun! thanks!
Appreciate it Don! They sure put on a beautiful show

Great job!!! Enjoy your videos and channel!!!!
Thanks!
That “click”
At the start. So relatable. I’ve cranked up and never even loaded my gun numerous times.
Great hunt brother
Thanks! Haha done that before too
Awesome limit for sure ! Hope some of them birds make it down here to Louisiana! Be safe!!
Thanks! These were gone a few days later
What a great day!!! I really like the way you pick out males and let the females fly away!!!
Thanks!
What a show of birds at the beginning Matt! Great hunt, congrats, Barry
Thanks Barry!
Cacklers are great in the Roaster
They are nice and tender
@@steverabideau3779 I love them for flying prime rib
Fabulous bag today. Mister, you are a double distilled duck hunter!
Appreciate it Paul!
Great combo hunt
Thanks!
Now that is a sweet bag of ducks and top it off with some yummy tasting. Geese thanks for another great video
Appreciate it Dan!
You have it good there. In western washington it is slow and dead hunting here. Not much ducks migration through here.
That stinks! Been slow for the past few weeks here now too

@@ExtraGenuisHunterMan appreciate that! Hope the rest of your season is good!
Awesome double ups man! Insane!
Thanks!
Mallards and Pintail are the best limit you can shoot I believe! I’m ready for a good push in SE Wyoming been a slow few days
Right there with you! Really slowed down the past week for me as well.
Nice hunt Matt!!! I went out this past weekend and got a limit of ducks mallards and woodies!
Thanks! Nice job!

Thanks! That's unfortunate
Very nice hunt
Thanks!
Look like cacklers to me ! Didnt realize they ranged that far east…writing from Oregon
Could have been. We get them on occasion.
Like your glory shots at the end of each video, I like to do the same. Also appreciate your simple hunting style in nature, how it should be 🤙👌
Appreciate it!
That looks pretty good lake Champlain doesn’t see quite as much movement.
👍🏻

Thanks! I'm sure I'll have one some day
You should do a camera/ hunt gear setup video!
Thanks, that's a great idea!
Also Matt are you going to do any late season goose hunting on the goose island I really liked those videos
Yep, just need them to move south.
No bismuth this year from boss you like the tss better what's the brand you use of tss .
Absolutely love the TSS. Salt Creek Ammo.

@@HighPrairieSportsmen Have you liked the #8's better than the #9's?
@@riverviewhunting9474 I prefer the 9s
How come you switched to a Cylinder instead of an IC for this hunt?
@@samjuidici5883 made the switch a few hunts before. Needed to open my pattern up more with the TSS at closer ranges
What gun camera do you use?
Shotkam Gen 4

Thought both of the wigeon in the decoys were hens. Knew for sure the tail bird was a drake.
I dont get why matt didnt water swat the geese their nothing wrong with water swatting .
@Fowlshooter there's nothing wrong with waterswatting. Just my personal preference to try and not do so if possible.
