Four months ago they said update cadence would slow down considerably so they can create larger more detailed updates and bug test properly. Now here we are with the most anemic chapter update yet absolutely full of bugs.
Well yeah!. A new feature of living settlements that is bugged to the bones and two little quests that are also bugged a pain in the ass with the waiting and not really worth it.
You can’t even imagine what the Console game is like, Remember the invisible Animals Bug, especially on Siptah, took Funcom 9 months to fix. PC players have it Easy.😊
I think it's ridiculous that the bugs introduced in the update were all known about in Beta and it is unacceptable to release a major update then immediately go on a vacation without even one guy there to put out a courtesy "we hear your concerns and are hard at work solving them" is totally unacceptable. Bethesda and Funcom are two devs that are the problem with their own games but those games are still so much fun for the brief windows they work in.
my favorite glitch is getting off the horse and having paperclip legs.. ill just run around like that laughing only crouching ti fix it 10 minutes later..
To me this game is only playable on PvP, and sadly it's always been in a somewhat sorry state. Riddled with bugs, exploits and straight up hackers, but it had a certain charm and we had loads of fun on it. But ever since Age of War, also known as Age of Roll the game became busted by design. We all quit eventually, even tho we were alpha on our server for months, cause the game simply wasn't fun anymore. No god bubbles, infinite roll and sprint and a new weapon balance that simply made no sense. Can't speak for the current state of bugs and exploits, all I can say is that they were always present but at least then you overlook it cause there was a gem underneath all that. Now... not so much. Thank you for making a video on it tho. Not a lot of Conan YTbers talk about pvp at all, let alone the bad stuff about it and what needs to be addressed.
I never played PVP, i have more than 10 000 hours in PVE but i realize that in PVP having a buggy mess is really a pain in the ass. It's already annoying in PVE and the last update with wandering thrall opening doors and getting killed must really be a problem.
I've played Competetive arcade Fighter games, Quake 3 Arena and Dota1 & 2 for years. I'd never play PVP unless I do my permadeath challenge as a nomad to remove bracelet. The amount of Jank and time wasted trying to actually do objectives is too damn high!

I'm not a PvP guy, don't have skills for that, so I stick to PvE servers only, however I've seen some of those bugs / issues on PvE as well, and off course, consoles updates absolutely does suck! 🥺😓 I'm slowly migrating back to pc again, but I'm well aware that the game on pc ain't bug free! PvP is still fun - but there is a lot of cheaters I guess. I just turned PvE player (on a PvP server), though. With the new thrall update I put up a bar that sees a lot of traffic, recruited som new employees among the clientele and freed some prisoners from the cages that have been introduced to the exiled lands. Suddenly the base is full of ppl doing a lot of funny shit. It’s quite endearing for one who until now have played just PvP, living in tiny bases with benches stacked everywhere and with boxes of explosives and gear hidden around the map. No thralls of mine have disappeared, none have gone outside and gotten themselves killed and no player has followed the thralls trough doors as they walk around my base. Maybe my new base will survive a couple of days more as I enjoy my new PvE life….
They need to escape the clutches of tencent. Funcom is yet another studio that's been bought out and gutted by tencent. Conan exiles is yet another game that's been destroyed by tencent.
Have almost 3k hours in this game, so, really have loved it... I threw in the towel with the bug that caused you to fall through foundations/floors constantly... was earlier this year I guess.
This game had the potential to be one of the greatest. But funcom has run it into the ground. Gamebreaking bugs have been in the game for almost 3 years and still haven't been fixed. At this point they either don't care, or they are incompetent and don't know how to fix what's broken. In either case, completely unacceptable
I'm glad that I don't play this game for PvP I play solo or on RP servers and I have the perfect amount of fun doing it, but I do love watching vids like this bc they make me laugh my ass off 😂
I just recently got back into this game after dropping it for a few years, a lot of the old bugs and annoyances are still present. When enemies get close to any objects they can gain 100% stun resistance. Thralls can kill you, several times recently I've had a thrall knock me and my rhino into the air and off a cliff. The thought that a 120 woman could throw a man and a rhino into the air is ridiculous and infuriating when it happens. Rhinos are bugged too, when you load a save they'll only do a fraction of the damage they normally would. The only way to make it unf*ck itself is to aggro an enemy an get it to attack the rhino while you are off of it. I'm also sick of my thralls disappearing. They need to focus on fixing this crap instead of overpriced items in the bazaar. There are plenty of other issues, these are just the ones that annoy me most
Hey Illibet I feel your pain. I know you like Soul Mask quite a bit. Have you tried out Valheim? Good survival game with solid combat. Really impressed with how much your channel has grown and hoping for 10k soon.
Have you any videos on how to survive in the volcano area, clothing, food ect. I've only been playing Conan Exiles for a week, Thanks. PS I'm only playing single player at the moment not online.

If they had tried and separated pve and pvp a bit more this game may still have a good population but no they cater to the ones who will buy more of their products. I will always say this game has the most potential but is in the wrong hands.
