What I do is go straight to the sorceress's cave and get the loot behind the table some pickaxes and upgrade tools will be there. then i go straight to The Den and take the Black Claw for legendary weapon then to the mounds of the dead and kill 1 berserker to get a full set of heavy armor. then I go straight to grinding using the upgraded pickaxe that I already got in the cave. just 20mins
I also recommend to grab an explosive vase or 2 while there. You can use those to blow up the star metal to be able to harvest them, that way you don't have to waste mats to make any explosives for the initial run.
Its interesting how so many people have a different routine. I still do mushroom farm early on, I go to the first big dungeon in noob river to get the iron sickle (its there most of the time for me), get the obelisk, then farm mushrooms on the way to the swamp, pick up steel pickaxe in swamp camp, get the purple/black lotus for purple orbs later, should be about lvl 30-40 now, get south swamp obelisk, loot sunken city flotsam and weapon/tool chest, go just to the north to pirate cove, buy an alchemist or two, buy a bit of hot food, move to the hidden passage to the north and kill a few spiders on the way for ichor, get temple obelisk in the north, move west to mounds and get that obelisk, maybe set up a small base and stash all the loot then go farm ice temple until 60, go south get obelisk on the way to sepamaru, spend all my silver on orbs, go south back to noob river and build a base near a camp of guys that are easy to knock out, do the journey for purple orbs, then go from there. I get most of the important obelisks and have enough resources to make hundreds of purple orbs so getting thralls is super fast and easy, no need to seperate the ones i want to enslave fro mthe ones i want to kill just throw an orb down and hide behind my shield until everyone is asleep then i can take as many as i want. If the iron sickle isnt there then I either take it easy and do the follower journey near a spot with iron and make a sickle or go north and see if bombs/katana are spawned at the castle. i didnt know the sorcerous cave had hardsteel/starmetal thanks youtube comments.

Someone on a FB group said they mapped Left stick up (press and hold it) to the sprint and I tried it. It is less awkward that way. Here’s hoping they fix it soon! My muscle memory is sad. ❤
Okay . . . . . I tried this. But for some strange reason, I decided to try it twice. The first time I was relatively successful, The second time I tried a slightly different tactic: I put 5 points into Expertise to increase my carrying capacity, and 5 points into Vitality to have passive health regeneration because there are quite a few moments where you're not doing anything and therefore it saves on using bandages/Aloe potions I also put a point or 2 in grit because I could - excellent guide!!!!
They've completely ruined the progression, it used to have flaws but now its an abomination. literally nothing in the game has any value whatsoever. like theres no actual "journey" at all, you just kill a couple of mobs and your gear is bordering on best in slot with no need to interact with the crafting system at all.

Game needs to be way harder than it is. The enitre point/appeal of a CONAN game is difficulty and over coming insane challenges. These idiots learned nothing from the sucess of elden ring. Progression needs to be region locked. You need to be contained to certain regions until you achieve specific goals/levels and defeat certain enemies. You need to be trapped in the river region until you beat the aqueducts dungeon. then you unlock the center map with arena beacon, and a branching quest-lines at pirate galleon and the den to unlock jungle and highlands and the relic hunter city areas relic city with goals/quests there to unlock dead city, Then quests/requirements in both mounds of dead to unlock frozen region. Then difficult side goals in all regions hunted down and unlocked and xelna and frozen temple to unlock the volcano. The Star metal weapons should be the strongest tier of basic weapon next to or under obsidian but there should be unique legendary weapon/armor crafts and use obsidian/star metal/rare animal parts and trade items and reinforced silk/leather to make. making you farm these materials over time to craft different pieces. This game is easy and as a result is boring and you feel no sense of accomplishment.

When I was looking for a spot to build my base on my private server, I accidentally ran into Xalthar's Refuge, completely forgetting it existed there. After some trial and error (and losing a low faction-tier 3 archer), I managed to obtain the full set of the armor. A friend of mine does the Katana Run as he loves having that thing on him. In a roundabout way, we both did half of the respective OP run. Him with the katana, me with the armor. Thanks for this video. My brother was trying to figure out how to reach the Katana, so now I can give this to him for a reference point.

I don't get it. All this work for this items. after short time they get broken and you can't repair them until you are in endgame. or do i miss something?
tip to farm the blade early game: for your inventory, make sure you play on a setting that doesn't make you lose EVERYTHING upon death. losing only your backpack is fine. at your base, make a chest to store all of your items you wish to keep. also make a bed at your base as your spawn point. then travel your way to the spot shown in the video near the fortress to place your bedroll. place it and keep it there. whenever you feel like getting a new blade, you can store your items in the chest mentioned above, die intentionally then spawn at the bedroll you placed near the fortress. go nab the blade, put the blade in your toolbar then die intentionally again and spawn at your bed. if you remembered to store your items in the chest before spawning by the fortress, you've basically got another blade without losing anything whatsoever. the bed and bedroll act as a "budget fast travel system" between the two areas. and because of this, you'd only have to manually travel there once to achieve this effect and farm the blade.
Pretty sure the boss in Xalthar's Refuge drops Sobek armor pieces with full durability (1-2 per kill from my experience). The boss is deeper inside the cave atop a wooden platform. Granted that is considerably more difficult at that level, but siiik armor to have so early. 🤘
i remember those cult of sobec... in the old purge system if you had a base in the jungle they could spawn, i could never defeat them when they swarmed my base, i lost soo many thralls to them
i did a similar scavenger strategy on official server just to see how far i could level up without actually building anything. i made it to the high 30s before i got bored with it. one other thing i found is you can pull some of the stygian raiders at the outskirts of the siege base over to the 3 skull elephant, and he will kill them. with some luck and running around, you can loot the dead raiders for some good aloe potions, the unique border hardened steel weapons, and other higher level loot. i didnt do the sobek armor run, but i should have. i just farmed the t4 exiles on noob river for armor, sobek armor would've been a better strategy for the scavenger run.
I'm kind of surprised that there hasn't been any comment on the re-release of the arcane building pieces in the bazaar. From what I can tell, they are just a slight tint change and a dash more gold on Reinforced Brick. 😕
Level 3. _Reinforced Wooden Box_ has no level requirement (!) BUT you need to be level 3 to take _Apprentice Mason_ which teaches _Construction Hammer_ to build the box.

Idk, it's a good video, but I would've been a few levels from 60 in the same amount of time; having full encumbrance (always first), full health (always second), the black blade (makes up for the lack of agility) and finally most of my agility. Or at least that's what I do when I go to a new server to level a character. Unfortunately my way doesn't work as well on Siptah, but it takes just under twice as long. But you did give me a better path to the blade, so I appreciate that. I always climbed to the left of the gate.
...it is also easy at level 10 to get Lian (without fighting) just find 3 purpple orbs in Sepermaru and approach Lian from the tablet side (climb) ...3 throws and done...that will help you up to 60 lvl...rest is easy :) just a small base and dismentling banch - u have all for perfect start in very short time ....
an even easier to get legendary is black claws, right at the bearer campfire on the east side of the den. its just laying on the bench next to the fire.

I am not allowed to take shortcuts to fame in my new run (self imposed rule), unfortunately. Actually never went up there, one of the few locations I don´t think I have visited. Anyway, I gave myself 0.1 damage and spawned Syra Brennerhet to be my "companion" with thralls having 1.0 damage. I have done all the initial stages, got my thrall some decent armor and weapons while I still wear crap. It´s been a lot harder than I expected, lots of running away from trouble because Syra gets stuck on everything. Just reached level 20 and got "well trained", that was the first hurdle. Anyway, also playing "no deaths allowed" unless I glitch until level 60. If I die ... it´s goodbye. Also not allowed to take any thralls in, all have to be purchased or hired at a tavern (crafters excluded, don´t know how to get those otherwise).
Crafters only reduce crafting time, so they can be skipped. EXCEPT for alchemists which are needed to craft orbs. I'm not sure why yer avoiding knocking people out, but you can purchase alchemist/dancer/taskmaster/fighter/archer slaves at Buccaneer Bay. With the reduced damage, those beefy komodo pets will do well with their poison debuff!
@@MadPirateShin I do 0.1 damage, doesn´t that apply to concussion damage as well? I upped my thralls damage from 0.5 to 1.0. I am the one doing much less damage, I totally rely on my companion to get the job done, animal pets do far too little damage.
@@AurioDK Pets have a 1x damage multiplier while Syra Brennerhet has 1.6x multiplier. I now understand that you were talking about leaving the server settings untouched, NOT reducing Syra Brennerhet's damage by 50%. I do not know if Concussion damage is reduced by server settings, but the purple lotus orbs and the poisoned/diseased/bleeding afflictions will do their full damage unless you adjust the setting for damage taken by the enemies.
Good luck on a multiplayer server. The weapon will be gone and the bombs and the battering ram and yhe only they will spawn agin os when the raod boss is defeated
yeah i recently came back from a long break and when i figured out all the "progression skips" i literally just quit the game and uninstalled. funcom continually makes the game worse, its like they dont even know what made the game good to begin with.
this game is a shell of what it used to be, all progression has been stripped out and honestly its just meaningless at this point. you're better of getting an easy legendary weapon and sobek armor than crafting literally anything. I'm actually amazed at how hollowed out the core of the game has gotten over the past 4 years.

Apparently you can't fix anything if you haven't unlocked their recipe. So yeah this Sword was only good for few battles.

I was set up in the desert just west of the Sobek cave when I first stated playing. Still have nightmares about those purges 😂

Hey wak does the Den still have the two jhebbal sag named priest's or did they get moved to purges? I've been trying to spawn them with no luck.

might as well just open admin panel and set your level to 60 instead of goof around with massive multipliers.

Kill teimos drops multiple parts. But I just would kill cimerian for their armour but not a bad alternative
I am not allowed to take shortcuts to fame in my new run (self imposed rule), unfortunately. Actually never went up there, one of the few locations I don´t think I have visited.
Anyway, I gave myself 0.1 damage and spawned Syra Brennerhet to be my "companion" with thralls having 1.0 damage. I have done all the initial stages, got my thrall some decent armor and weapons while I still wear crap. It´s been a lot harder than I expected, lots of running away from trouble because Syra gets stuck on everything. Just reached level 20 and got "well trained", that was the first hurdle.
Anyway, also playing "no deaths allowed" unless I glitch until level 60. If I die ... it´s goodbye. Also not allowed to take any thralls in, all have to be purchased or hired at a tavern (crafters excluded, don´t know how to get those otherwise).
Crafters only reduce crafting time, so they can be skipped. EXCEPT for alchemists which are needed to craft orbs.
I'm not sure why yer avoiding knocking people out, but you can purchase alchemist/dancer/taskmaster/fighter/archer slaves at Buccaneer Bay.
With the reduced damage, those beefy komodo pets will do well with their poison debuff!
@@MadPirateShin I do 0.1 damage, doesn´t that apply to concussion damage as well? I upped my thralls damage from 0.5 to 1.0. I am the one doing much less damage, I totally rely on my companion to get the job done, animal pets do far too little damage.
@@AurioDK Pets have a 1x damage multiplier while Syra Brennerhet has 1.6x multiplier. I now understand that you were talking about leaving the server settings untouched, NOT reducing Syra Brennerhet's damage by 50%.
I do not know if Concussion damage is reduced by server settings, but the purple lotus orbs and the poisoned/diseased/bleeding afflictions will do their full damage unless you adjust the setting for damage taken by the enemies.
But syra she is from volcan spawn

Good luck on a multiplayer server. The weapon will be gone and the bombs and the battering ram and yhe only they will spawn agin os when the raod boss is defeated

Instead of farming sobek go farm cimerian from cimerian berserker this is easier and faster

yeah i recently came back from a long break and when i figured out all the "progression skips" i literally just quit the game and uninstalled. funcom continually makes the game worse, its like they dont even know what made the game good to begin with.

this game is a shell of what it used to be, all progression has been stripped out and honestly its just meaningless at this point. you're better of getting an easy legendary weapon and sobek armor than crafting literally anything. I'm actually amazed at how hollowed out the core of the game has gotten over the past 4 years.
