I remember playing this game as a kid and thinking this was mind-blowingly real! What a great time!
Wow a Commodore 64 simulation/game with many vocals/speech was very rare.
The voice sounds like Half-Life soldiers.
Does one need the manual to play this or can one get by without it?

There is one mission that you absolutely need the manual for that I recall. It's the spacewalk/capture satellites. The rest you might be able to figure out.
