Mix 1060, CKMX played alternative new music. Calgary 7 covered the impending format change Standard Radio was going to make to crooner music. CKMX held an adult standards format until 2005 when they flipped to classic country.

I stream online stations from other places. Local stations don't play anything good regardless of your musical tastes. The radio band in many places is saturated with station. All sound the same and don't interest me. Nostalgia gone too...
