  • This time we're going to check on a place we were told about recently, a lone house in the middle of the narlmarches which is said to be the home to a wizard of sorts who can maybe help us understand what is going on with the trolls in the area. Mr. Bartholomew Delgado

Heh...to bad you're not Chaotic. You'd get a really inventive reply to Stefano Moskoni later when he visits your court. Also, Candlemere is always a pain, mainly because of the elemental damage. There are spells against that, of course, but the enemies there do so much damage that the spells constantly run out.

I actually don't have that much trouble with the damage in Candlemere (but of course you need those protections otherwise it's just a massacre lol), the AC on certain enemies there though can make things a bit longer than they should be :p

You might want to wait for a Willas Gunderson visit (36 days to deadline), which actually starts a quest 'The Curse of Candlemere', before going to the Candlemere Isle. Some extra exp this way I believe (you'll miss the 900 exp if you'll go there before that). Not much but I think it's a right thing to do. Also with some luck you might have an Extinguisher +2 greataxe, +6 against Will-o'-Wisps from Varrask by that time which will make things a bit easier there.

I always forget that axe exists actually, but it is indeed quite the useful item to bring for those pesky balls of light.
As for Willas, any quests and extra experience are always welcome!

Awesome that you are playing Pathfinder Kingmaker. I enjoy every one of your episodes.
In the mod Bag of tricks there is an option - show all party members. I think it's under "Party".
That would also give you a portrait of your animal companions in combat. But you probably know that.

Oh? I did not know that actually :o I've never used Bag of Tricks on this game, I just have it installed in case something bricks I can try to fix it, thankfully not needed yet. These useful suggestions always feel free to share, even if I know it, other might not.
I will definitely try this out, thank you :D

You CAN actually turn rock trolls into stone ehehehe. So it's a mechanical hint that statue ;)

Hum, I imagine you're talking about the rock troll from Ekun's quest? That would be pretty cool actually if you could lure him into a place with sunlight and turn him into stone :D
      I'll have to try that!
