Looks really nice! If you do end up doing a passenger platform, remember to triple-check the clearance! We've had a few platforms that caught the edge of certain locomotive pilots, cars that wanted to "slide" across the top of the platforms, etc. Also make sure the roof can handle the largest piece of freight equipment (doublestack containers and/or an autorack). Ask me how we learned those lessons. =P
That is a really good idea for using a switch on a switch. So simple! 😂 Nothing complicated to throw power and make a signal light.
