Buckhorn Weston Test Ring

Test ringing the six at Buckhorn Weston, Dorset, following restoration. 10th September 2020. All Covid precautions in place, ringing undertaken by a works 'bubble'... The restored ring includes two used bells, the 2nd is ex St Margaret's Ipswich and the tenor is ex Child Okeford. The original 2nd and tenor have been retired from the ringing peal, but are still used with the clock chime.

These sound fantastic! I was slightly curious about this tower, as I pass it a lot on the train.

They were silent for around 40 years. We managed to get them going for a limited time, in an attempt to raise the awareness of the bells and to muster some enthusiasm to have them properly restored. That has now happened! Very pleased.
