How to Change your Air Filters 2007-2012 Mercedes Benz GL450

Hey everybody we decided to give you guys some quick help with how to change your air filters in your Gl450. This also applies to cars with the same 4.7 L V8 M273 Engine! This is a quick and easy way to Change your air filters.

Those are 8 cylinders engines with 1 spark plug under each of the 8 ignition coils. Four on each side for a total of 8 spark plugs. I think you mistakenly said there were 2 spark plugs under each ignition coil.
Couldn’t figure how to remove that rear engine cover with the air cleaners on each side. Your video explained it well and I was able to change the air filters as well as the spark plugs in my 2009 GL450. Thank you!

Hi, which side has number #3 spark plug. I got code P0303 and needs to replace the #3 plugs. Thanks

My 450 2011only has 8 spark plugs why ypu say 16
