My 450 2011only has 8 spark plugs why ypu say 16

My 2011 450 has three filters yours only had 2

Was the amp replaced due to sound not working? All of a sudden I don’t have sound coming out of mine? Took it to dealership and they are saying I need a new amp. They quoted me $2500 for new amp installed. Wondering if aftermarket amp would work with factory radio or if I should have amp repaired.

Am just about to tackle this myself. What did you use to get the roll pin out and back in? Also, did you buy a new pin or re-use the old one(s)?

I would have cut the carpet on 3 sides and folded it back. Also make my cut lines under the seat bracket runners. This way it folds back into place, no cut in the rear, and side cuts are hidden under the seat rails. You can also double side tape under the front cut. Don't be a hack shop.

Those are 8 cylinders engines with 1 spark plug under each of the 8 ignition coils. Four on each side for a total of 8 spark plugs. I think you mistakenly said there were 2 spark plugs under each ignition coil. Couldn’t figure how to remove that rear engine cover with the air cleaners on each side. Your video explained it well and I was able to change the air filters as well as the spark plugs in my 2009 GL450. Thank you!

Excellent work up. Mercedes wants you to take out the glove box so you either get frustrated or intimidated by it so you just pay them .7hrs @ $150/HR to do it for you.

Appreciate your work! This is so much easier! Also glad MB had the great idea of putting these filters under the hood instead of under the dash. I looked at the passenger side under dash and my heart sank LOL! My 13 Acadia and 18 Silverado were nowhere near this simple!

Is this something any audio installation shop would be able to repair or look into? My GL’s sound suddenly stopped and I have a feeling the amplifier is the culprit. I have an aftermarket head unit in it so I’m hesitant to take it to the dealership because I’m probably just get ripped off.

Nice video. I have a 2010 GL450 and have a clogged AC drain line. Do you know where it is located ? Even my mechanic can’t find it.
