Meeting Maitani must have also been special.
I miss my original OM2, for me that was such a pleasure to use. I now have OM4's and recently I found an OM2n and it is like riding a bike.
I did have a Pen D I'm sorry that I ever sold it.

Hi. Do you know what orientation to screw the uv filter out? Mine has one and I don't want to damage the threads.

It turns out counter-clockwise. The original filters are known to become stuck. A little penetrating oil (very little) can often help get them off.

@@japanvintagecamera8869 Thank you! I manage to take it out without damaging the lens. Bought my pen original with box I wonder if it is rare also in Japant to have it with box? Can't find a listing on ebay that has the original box and papers.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like all the Pen cameras, I was lucky enough to meet Maitani-san years ago, and he signed the back of my OM3 with the diamond pen he used to carry.
