Weapons primarily is to harm others.Spiritual realisations that we are all inter-connected and one makes the profession of weapon making non logical.

It's not a question of ethics. We all support the right of Ukrainians to defend themselves.
But Buddha taught us to avoid unskillful livelihood. Making weapons, poison and alcohol are considered unskillful livelihood.
