This part rules, and this whole video is so damn good. I used to watch it everyday when I'd get home from school on a burnt VHS tape. Videos now lack that feeling of having fun with your friends. Everything seems so rehearsed and not authentic or something. I dont know maybe its just the nostalgia talking. But this video is magic.
Woah when he jumps off the second floor of that mall into the river that's in west Edmonton mall Alberta !!! I live in Edmonton and alway thought about jumping in. Never knew he did it though.
I am 15 years old and I have never seen bam skate. I knew he was pro but didn’t think he was that good. I’m amazed by how good he was. Good style and great tricks.
This part ruled my whole entire life. Then I remember buying cky landspeed like right after it came out after JOAB and that was it. My favorite skater for a long time in those days.
The good old days. Makes me so nostalgic. Just little things like seeing him rock an old Toy Machine deck and things like that. Now skateboarding is all about promoting Nike and Mountain Dew etc.
idk if anyone's actually seen that encinitas drop in person but I live in SD and have always wondered if someone's dropped in on it and I guess the answers yes the video doesn't do it justice though it must be at like a 50% pitch
Andy Fulcher i found it, it's Aaron Harrison in Thrill of it All. a few clips in he does a little line in the parking lot above and then ollies from the lot into the huge bank
+VLSkate Back when skate videos often didn't purchase/get rights to the songs, and almost all sections arbitrarily cut off the song in the middle, because that's where the rider's skating ends. Of course, not all videos were like this, but even Welcome to Hell is guilty of that in a few sections....
+Riley Ulrich He chose not to thought. Throughout the first jackass he said he didn't like it because of its 'Hollywood' feel. There's also an interview filmed at his house, I think, where he says he doesn't like leaving home (Westchester). Easily homesick. He's the most underrated and talented guy from the cky/jackass crew. Cattlebag is fucking hilarious and seeing his homemade style skits inspire me and my friends to do the same.
+sluohg ya and bam said he wasn't gonna use his funniness for Jeff tremaine to move up in a mansion and bam said he's gonna anyways but dicamillo still didn't want to work with him
F3ARN0NE187 Glad it worked out the way it did. There's people in the music/movie business that aren't making their craft anymore because people used them for money within the business. Making them feel sour about the idea of music/movies as a whole. I wouldve hated for Dico to have his passion ruined in Hollywood.
Who knew one day you'd piss away your incredible talent for quick money, fame, and eventually drugs. You were and still are a hero to me. Keep up the sobriety and let's see a clean Bam!
Anybody know what shoes he skates for most of the part? I see etnies in there, duffs maybe? Grey with white sole and black with white sole. Pre Adio for sure.
Back when skinny jeans were frowned upon... Nowadays if I wear a pair of relaxed fit straight leg jeans everybody looks at me funny, like what the fuck?! Do you want me walking around looking like some sort of a stickbug while wearing some super, ultra, slim fit jeans? LOL
I heard he's been sober for a few months now which is good to hear because I think Ryan dunn's death really hurt him. Maybe we'll see another movie or part from him soon.
My friend used to collect those mail-in survey/warranty cards from Element skateboards and in the comments he wrote "put Bam back on Toy Machine, assholes"
Honestly Bams decision to focus on his MTV career over skating was smart. Why risk a career ending injury and work a hundred times harder for way less money? Biggest lesson you learn as an adult, life is all about money.
Sometimes it's easy to forget how sick Bam's skating was. A classic part indeed.
True as fuck, but the you're like "why was he famous in the first place.... oh wait he actually was tech and skated big back in the day..."
@@DZaneSilvers he kinda sucked
@@davidbass3178 bam wasn't super technical but he didnt suck lol come on man dont be a hater
@@flyingjlotlizard9993 ok he sucked 75% of the time he was pro. He had some good parts.
he's was pretty good.

watch sure by john wilson
+Recipe For Hate Why? That video has nothing to do with what he is talking about.
F Scarecro
its a really good video that's why, quartersnacks crew seems that they're always having fun at skating
+Recipe For Hate Or any part from Chris Milic, John Motta, or ryan lay
+MrLurkin4life Dude look up shep dawgs if you don't already know them. Good skating and having fun
I used to idolize this guy because of this video.. I wish he stuck to skateboarding.
heroin is waaaaaaay cooler
+grhmcchrn bam didn't get into that, did he ?
+grhmcchrn what if he left element for Heroin
+Christopher Ray lol did you see that game show he had it lasted a few episodes before it got cancelled
+Christopher Ray he way way better off doing jackass. i dont seem bam making money in skating in the last 10 years if he had stuck to that.
Such a sick part growing up. Always be a classic!
Woah when he jumps off the second floor of that mall into the river that's in west Edmonton mall Alberta !!! I live in Edmonton and alway thought about jumping in. Never knew he did it though.
+MountKeverest part of me wants to go there tomorrow and look at it. I've never noticed it before haha
+MountKeverest dare ya to do a ganor over it
I am 15 years old and I have never seen bam skate. I knew he was pro but didn’t think he was that good. I’m amazed by how good he was. Good style and great tricks.
yes sir
this is one of many videos! bam is amazing at skaing :)
U can't live this much, in that amount of time, without time takin it back
back when he rode for toy machine, the good ol days
This was alien worskshop days
@@J.Street.48 ?? this is a toy machine vid and he never rode for aws,,,,
@@invertedcrown i commented on the wrong video 😂 i was on a jason dill video

This part ruled my whole entire life. Then I remember buying cky landspeed like right after it came out after JOAB and that was it. My favorite skater for a long time in those days.
BAM always had the smoothest looking kickflips
Bam’s toy machine career is overshadowed by his legacy with element
That's crazy, you didn't really see much of bams old skate footy in his CKY videos. Bam is definitely one of my favorite skaters
Bam Margera skating love park before they fucked it up, doesn't get more classic than that
Remember watching this as a kid, goes right into the Elisa steamer part after, which was just as rad. I need to dig up this video
Bam inspired me to start skateboarding. Now I'm in really good shape. Thanks for entertaining and inspiring us Bam 😊
strange to watch bam skate with no cky or him playing over it lol
+Jamie Deakin nailed it
+Jamie Deakin Don't forget turbonegro haha
TheMeaningsOfLives AsACat Yes whats the Deal with him and turbonegro?
Bam has the sickest variel heel flips
I live in Encinitas and drive past that spot all the time. I trip out every time I see it about how gnarly that is, so giant in person.
Bam is forever the fkn man
Bam skating makes me happy
wow he shouldve never quit dude was pretty good
Viva la Bam was my shit
GEORGE
Your vlogs fucking suck
The good old days. Makes me so nostalgic. Just little things like seeing him rock an old Toy Machine deck and things like that. Now skateboarding is all about promoting Nike and Mountain Dew etc.
Bam rode for Nike around this time
what makes this video classic is that Jethro Tull was used for the background music.
Nice play.
Skateboarding in its purest form. It's not all tricks. A lot of it is goofing off with the homies. Love Bam forever. Fuck the haters.
He was such a good dude. Now I'm looking at 8 years clean. Stevo O has 12 and this guy can't go one day. Sad really.
idk if anyone's actually seen that encinitas drop in person but I live in SD and have always wondered if someone's dropped in on it and I guess the answers yes the video doesn't do it justice though it must be at like a 50% pitch
someone ollies into it in some old zero video too, crazy
Hell yeah that thing is massive. Such a gnarly drop in
What zero video missled youth or dying to live ?

skating was gnar, but really goes to show how much it has evolved from basic tricks.
Damn. And B turner just did that ender switch. Over two decades later.
Damn its been wahile . but it never gets old
I use to have that toy machine monster deck. We all dreamt of having that DV cam with fisheye lense.
how old was bam in this footage 18? 20? so epic
Does anyone know how to find anything about those first Nikes? I think Bam used to wear a Jaya Bonderov model all the time, but I’m not sure about it.
dam ellisa steamers song just kicked in at the end.....so good
I'm glad bam got a classic
Anyone remember how cool the actual vhs tape looked for this video?
yep still have my copy.
"what are you doing?!"
*gets pie thrown in face*
*gets slapped*
"uggghhh"
Love the Encinitas drop in
Nostalgia to the max
B.Dicamillio should of been rich & famous .

My hero ❤❤❤
I was totally expecting Elissa's part to start rolling once I heard that music lol
I miss old Bam.
Dico and Bam were hilarious
I miss when Bam actually skated
he's taken it up again. a little slower, a bit tubby..er but I hope he tweaks the beef from now on.
last trick spot was so sick!
2:30 is the visitor's center in Valley Forge, PA - it's a ridiculously steep drop and the angle doesn't do it justice.
Wish Bam would have skated more. Dude was legit as fuck.
I will be honest when I bought the vhs I only watched it like 5 times unlike all my other videos that I watched a thousand times.
We really, really appreciate your honesty.
+SONOFABITCH well everyone talking like its the best video ever and it really wasnt.
Bam had nice half cab heels
Wonder why he stopped doing em
Awesome

Lol don’t get cocky. I could happen to anyone
ah dang i live in the same town bam was from but i don't think i recognize any places :(
Anybody know what shoes he skates for most of the part? I see etnies in there, duffs maybe? Grey with white sole and black with white sole. Pre Adio for sure.
at one point looks like dukes
Nike Baldspot. Hard to find much on them. Was part of Nike’s end of their first skate line.
holy sheet , front flip into the water at west edmonton mall!? wat a freakjob
I thought I was gonna see Elissa at the end. Friend bought this on VHS back when I sdidnt have grey and balding scalp.
Jethro Tull. Nice.
Mike Maldonado has an epic part in this video
West Edmonton Mall represent
awe damn, I was thinking I was going to see steamers part after
That's funny you say that, you can actually hear her part coming up after Bams finished. Haha
LOL
Funny how things go around
when i liked bam.. Before he made millions, stopped skating and got into drugs..
because of injuies he had to stop & drugs everyone has become a addict. You recover. You are young lad.
I heard he's been sober for a few months now which is good to hear because I think Ryan dunn's death really hurt him. Maybe we'll see another movie or part from him soon.
am i the only one that heard the random janis joplin at the end? or is that for the next part in the vid?
+sctim123 next part is ellisa steamer's part with that song on it
Woodsworth in Winnipeg at 2:23, Sk8 Skates shirt at 2:17 and 2:27
YES BAM UR THE BEST!
It's crazy to see his clothing style change after the 90's.
My friend used to collect those mail-in survey/warranty cards from Element skateboards and in the comments he wrote "put Bam back on Toy Machine, assholes"

1998
Any1 know Intro song?
What song is used in the intro? Thanks.

Bam is so young
Fun times.

i dont think money served him that well tbh, enabled his issues if anything
more money more problems. life was more simple when bam skated
toy machine need to get with bam and do a LIMITED rerelease of all his boards, would be HUGE!!!!!
Bam
damn nice old toy machine boards!!
jimmy was gnarly man
Man!!! he was on point before the drugs and jackass, 18 with a great career in skating ahead of him, what a waste, brilliant video tho ✌️⭐
This reminds me of Animal Chin almost 🤣
